Sorry to intrude, but can anyone give any light of how Will Sheahan went for his VFL debut? He is a Mallee region prospect and just wondering how he went.
He was pretty good. Took a couple of nice grabs. And is a good kick. liked the look of him

I have to ask... did 61 borrow someone else's shorts. Look about 5 sizes too big.
Steve Hocking’s?

Maybe Eddie Betts left them behind?

Nice goal sense. Doing what you would expect a 25yo to do at thie level though.

The "arhhh but" is exactly that. If was 18,19,20 etc.. one might expect one thing. At 25... if he is not ready to come in almost immediately , then its going to be hard for him. What is his 1 wood? What is his point of difference that gets him selected before younger mids. I compare him to Menegola when he is playing AFL and Menegola looks big and strong and is bossing around the opposition. MSD really is a dice roll. If we bring in another 2 mids at years end it will only get tougher for Mitch. Be interesting to see if he is named an emg before the year is out.

Where the hell is Willis
It’s been a month now hasn’t it
I had heard he was on track for this week. But not even emergencies so look like he didn’t get up.

Given the signed him (when it didn’t seem necessary) I assume they must think it isn’t a medium term concern but other than Dempsey and Knevitt (and lately Whyte) that group just hasn’t been able to get consistency

Todd Goldstein is about to wreck havoc on your subpar VFL rucks.

Any chance they're giving him a mini training block? He returned from injury, got a few matches under his belt before advising of a sore foot (?), and maybe they just want to build him back up via the training track where they have more control over things compared with playing VFL?

The both feet inside 50 kicking is pretty good. Worth at least a game or two to see if he can replicate at senior level. Needs to stop fading out in games though

A bit harsh on Quick - thought he was ok in debut.

There will be one late change due to someone being sub in AFL. (My guess is Dempsey) so maybe he comes back in.

Quick was good last week would happily see him in again.
