I wonder if it would be better for team performance if Ceglar came on during the second quarter, so that our young VFL players would get the steadying experience of him during the later part of the game when the result is likely to be on the line.
Not having him on the field in the last quarter puts the team at a disadvantage.

He was downed and hurt about 1 minute before the 3/4 time siren... I assume he didn't return after the break as a precaution and would have played it out otherwise.

But if the plan was to 100% only play him for 3 quarters, your point is certainly valid.

Ideally we would have Conway and Neale in the side... but its a good idea if they only want to play him 75% .... as long as you are not 5 goals down at 1/4 time.

I think we have noted this before and it has not happened...either Neale or Dempsey..

It would be a test for him against Adelaide but if the MC think he is ready then fine..bring him and let the crowd lift him.
I think make got a mention and was a late entry. Dempsey ended up being a week or two after though I think

Good call from D BRIDGE some serious Rohan vibes in those run down tackles from Clark.

Maybe it is the funky ball drop, but I think he could be Dunkley type. Good overhead, defensive game, can kick goals.
The more he plays the more you'll see my Bartel comparison..

NEXT GAME Sunday 7th may GEELONG vs SOUTHPORT at GMHBA 12pm......last year it was men vs boys with Southport having the big bodies they smashed us....look forward to see how we go this time

A lot of people think Southport should have been in the comp rather the Suns... strong club... and mature players killed us. Does nt help when our non playing AFL guys do not play VFL. It seems only a few are asked to play often resting is preferred.... and if we had a full list to picks from like Conway etc would help too.

Fosters early celebration mocked. Right at the end. Poor lad. Genuinely funny though and he should take it in good humour
Had a good laugh at that on the replay. Thought would figure in club end of year video but (poor guy) FC is a little rough !

Very impressed by Foster’s initial showing - leads well, can take a grab and liked the instinct to play on immediately. Some nice passes as well. As builds a tank will be a good prospect. Just has to stay in injured !
