We played terrible - they played their best and kick goals out of their arse. Waite and Jacobs make a big difference and hopefully back soon.

Fairly gutted by that. We tried to out play them in an outside game when it was clear after a quarter that wouldn't work. We miss a half dozen regulation shots. Worst of all we had a sniff at the end then snuffed it by our own deeds.

We were our own worst enemies today. Just played dumb, stupid footy all day and paid the price. Had our chances but let ourselves down at important times. We lose by 17 poins but it looked far worse. Losing to the pharmacists hurts like hell but we copped what we deserved today.

This second half of the year has been the old North creeping in and it sucks. Even Brad looked really disappointed

The lack of pressure was putrid at some parts and a lot of veterans had bad days

Essendon played really well though and was a great game to watch

I agree when he first got to the club thought hhe would be something.
As stupid as it sounds we missed hurtang today.

Wrong move to go head to head in the first half. Way too much leg speed to try and contain on defensive transition.

Got the game on our terms about mid way through the 3rd and then just butchered so many opportunities from there.

Forward pressure still the main issue, seriously has to be addressed in the off season. The tackle count at half time was embarrassing, had 6 tackles in the second quarter, no where near good enough.

Paul Ahern one of my few highlights for the day. Really lifted in the second half. This boy will be great, be patient he’ll explode once he builds a tank.
