I heard Collingwood were coming to Perth this year for their end of season trip.... because thats what you do on holidays... go away to some place you don't get to go to that often

Collingwood r a great club.....
A truly Great club....
But their supporters don't see the trees for the forest......Brissy will destroy anyone with pinpoint accuracy....if u let them....
Tarrant hasn't got the internal drive to carry a forward line.......but don't tell a Pie supporter that...
Some Pie **** a day ago posted the outcome of the match.....He must have faxed it from Mars.......it was so way out there

no excuses - congrats to the Lions and enjoy their win all you supporters of crappy non-contender teams. god knows your own teams provide you with little opportunity
We were not hard enough at the ball and got flogged because of it..........can't bring myself to say congrats though because I live in QLD and we will have it all over the papers about AFL and Brisbane.....that is until the Lions have slipt back on the ladder. All you queenslander remember how we used to get bombarded about the bullets when they were winning in the basketball....never hear about them now because thay are no longer winning. I am not saying that there are not alot of true lions supporters out there just saying the pop culture up here is very oriented toward only supporting success and droppong away when failure occurs.
My other point is on the fact that people are now saying that Collingwood will whinge re the slary cap etc. They say this in one breath and then whinge that collingwood only got so far because of an easy draw..........please consider your posts before writing them..

My heart goes out to all Eddiewood supporters, you were robbed.
Firstly that trip to Adelaide for finals footy, we all know how much interstate travel takes out of players and it just shouldn't have happened. AFL is really VFL and a Victorian sport, ALL finals should be played in Melbourne.
Secondly the crappy umpiring. Now don't tell me they didn't understand their instructions because they were inch perfect on Jonathon Brown, so why didn't they make the same calls when other Brisbane players were mugged. Bloody inconsistant and failing to follow instructions IMO. And don't they know that if a Brissy player has the ball in his hands it's 'holding the ball', geesh Eddiepies should have had a couple of dozen more frees.
Now we must get things a lot fairer in future so the best thing to do is
1) All 22 Pies games are played in Melbourne
2) After Pies playing everyone once the remaining 7 games are against the bottom 7 sides from the previous season
3. All Pies games live on TV with Eddie calling (and running the bounary)
4) All Finals to be in Melbourne
5) Three priority draft picks each season for Pies
6) Pies have double salary cap
7) Teams playing Pies may only field 16 players at one time.
8) 10 Get out of jail free passes each season for tribunals
Now that seems fair.

i posted my opinion of the outcome.and i admit i might have been slightly off the marrk. but remember this, tommorow i will wake up with 2 wonderful children and a beautiful wife. footy is only a game.
thats my attitude when we loose.
