If fit Elijah just needs to play.
He will develop much faster at afl level then he would running around the WAFL.
If not on managed minutes, that is.
I can imagine him being used as a sub initially for a game or two give he would be lower on the pecking order for midfield / cbd minutes.

Hewett pulled up sore from training late last week, and after scans was found to have low-level bone stress in his foot. A different region to his initial injury according to Inness. He is getting taken off legs for another "couple of weeks", but on the website he is listed as season. This news sucks.

Probably trying too hard to get back.
Not sure if it's the greatest sign from my point of view, obviously means this is something far more serious.
It’s a good sign that they’re not ****ing around. Ala Yeo and his injury recovery.

Should have put Luke Shuey on the plane with him.....could do with him exploding from the CBDs, going back to support the defence, being good on both sides of his body, pressuring opposition players, hitting leading forwards on the title etc....in 2025!
Good to hear he seeing worlds best.
If anyone googles siesmoids, it tells you post bone removal surgery often has new complications as the foot and muscles adapt.
So for me, not unexpected, just hope he fully recovers in time.

Apparently he’s started to ramp up his training and I think he might be heading to dubai with a couple of other boys to see that physio
