The way you phrased it implies that Wells deliberately overlooked Goddard, Lever and Durdin because he knew Cameron Delaney (or someone else) would be available in the rookie draft. I'm pretty confident that's not true. That's YOUR opinion.
Hopefully he won't get foot in mouth like the young fellow who just got drafted by the BluesYou mean heal foot right in
Agreed- it's very unlike the Cats and probably more unlikely when you consider our relationship with the Roos.I'd wait to hear from the two Scott's before assuming we "broke any gentlemans agreement".

Sorry this is a business, not a centre link queue.have every right to be. Usually a gentleman's agreement in place when you delist an injured player. Stay classy Cats.
If we blind sighted North then that isn't cool.
I suspect, with the way we have operated this entire trade period, North were well aware of our intentions. I'd be disappointed if that wasn't the case.
Makes a nice change from being bent over every trade period with getting poor picksI hope we did, Im sick of being the nice guy team. Its about time we stuck it up someone, and made the rest of the clubs realise we won't be just a walkover. Im sorry it happened to North but I'm glad the club has some arrogance.
When you put years of development in and senior spots are limited, you rookie them and hope they can leave the injuries behind. Every club does it and other clubs steer clear. Unwritten law.Sorry this is a business, not a centre link queue.
If you required him that badly you'd have kept him on the list and not taken the risk of losing him.
We didn't get bent over in this trade period. Next year you'll change your tune.Makes a nice change from being bent over every trade period with getting poor picks
Buddy for pick 21 which we used on Stanley saids otherwise. We didn't get bent over in this trade period. Next year you'll change your tune.
Then you don't delist him if he's a required player...simple and too bad. That's the risk you took. When you put years of development in and senior spots are limited, you rookie them and hope they can leave the injuries behind. Every club does it and other clubs steer clear. Unwritten law.
Fair enough if North told him he was no longer required (something I'd highly doubt considering our list manager said on Friday we would be rookie listing him)

That's your prerogative if you don't rate Stanley and think it was a bad deal. I'm saying you'll be eating your words. Bundy needed to go anyway.Buddy for pick 21 which we used on Stanley saids otherwise.
I agree that Bundy needed to leave, however I don't see the potential in Stanley he had one good game in his career so far. That's your prerogative if you don't rate Stanley and think it was a bad deal. I'm saying you'll be eating your words. Bundy needed to go anyway.
I'm sure you'd be having the same view if the roles were reversed.Cry us a river its a business
Well it sounds like you guys have been greedy and karma has finally bit you back after you guys stole Thompson from us all those years ago.give the club the opportunity to get the best available rookie option (that wasn't previously listed by us).
no other club picked their own previously listed players in the first round, that usually happens in the 3rd, 4th and 5th round of the rookie draft.
we've kept injury prone players including Menzel, Cowan and Vardy on our list to avoid other clubs pinching them. You should of done the same if you believe he is worth it.When you put years of development in and senior spots are limited, you rookie them and hope they can leave the injuries behind. yep. we all love something to get angry about.Agreed- it's very unlike the Cats and probably more unlikely when you consider our relationship with the Roos.
