If the club decides to bring back the long sleeve guernsey, the sleeves should be plain gold and not the one with the stripes.
Not sure that works very well with gold.

Doesn't look that good for North

I think he was taking the pi55. I get it now.

That is appalling from Nawf.

20 odd years ago Chelsea had to play a European tie in Russia, in winter, evening game. Significant minus temperatures.

Chelsea captain Dennis Wise who was a little thug instructed his teammates to wear short sleeved shirts "to show them what we're all about".

I saw one of his teammates interviewed, he said "Den what are you up to its freezing", he said he couldn't concentrate on the game and nor could most of his teammates because they were all freezing their nuts off.

I'm not sure but I think they all came out for the second half wearing long sleeves. Haha.

That showed them.

The softest players wear short sleeves.

Anyone who says different hasn't thought it through. The softer players are constantly whining for free kicks. How do you think Selwood's shoulder shrug would go if the oil on his arms was shielded by long sleeves. Bastard would get nailed all the time. Soft.

Clarko had no shirt on at all in Sydney when it snowed and the players all wore short sleeves and we knocked off gws. There is a fine line between motivating mentality and harming yourself by not wearing the right clothes for the conditions 😂

*Canberra, I think

Don't forget back in the day blokes used to wear long sleevers so their mums wouldn't know they had tattoos when watching them on the telly. Would be more long sleeves than not if that was the case today.

Where do we stand on 3quarter length sleeves 🤔
Didn't Cold Ghost wear some sort of ridiculous 3/4 length top against us down in Tasmania about 5yrs back?

The game when Hodge mouthed off at the umpire about "that's right, fu**en Gaz, got to protect little Gaz" (or words to that effect).

Some players wore some kind of under-shirt or something, from memory.

It's wet season in Singapore, so the temperature can dip to 26 when its raining.
Locals will rug up with that temperature drop.

It's interesting how you can acclimatise to certain weather conditions outside of what other people consider to be the norm.

I spent a couple of years in Darwin and I knew I had acclimatised when I started having warm showers. Also during the dry season it wasn't uncommon to feel a little cold at night when the temperature dropped.

Chad back in training i thought. Any chance he gets game time vs Pies?
Possibly.

Silky midfielder-forward Chad Wingard (ankle) did some boxing on the boundary line during the intra-club match but remains hopeful of lining up against the Magpies.
“He’s trying to take it slow with his progression but he’s got it to the point now where we’re confident to get him back into some drills,” Newman said of Wingard.
“We’ll see how it goes next week but we certainly won’t be taking any risks at this time of year.”

So from that bit of info I gather he’s a either a sure thing for the praccie match or 8 weeks away 😂

Why is Wingard stuck up forward again?

He's a star as a midfielder. He's barely AFL quality up forward. This has been clear to anybody paying attention for about six years now.
