What I loved most about Sewell was his ability to grab the contested ball and get a quick handpass off to a player in space even with two or three blokes hanging off him.

My favourite thing about Sewell was incidental; he would never let someone else return the ball to the ump when a ball up was called - in the tackle, he always came up with the ball. It always struck me as a purely psychological thing.

I wouldn't trade the 2012 premiership for anything (because I doubt we'd have had the fire to go on to threepeat without it) - but Sewelly missing out, as I figured he was a lock for the Norm Smith, is my major lament.

Worpel a little down at the moment but he will be back. Really strange that we have Gunston, Breust, Smith, Mitchell absolutely on fire and playing their roles beautifully and around 5-6 players who cannot get the ball rolling their way. The bye is coming at the right time.

32 disposals @87% efficiency.

14 contested possessions. 10 score involvements. 5 inside 50's.

All within 86 mins on ground.

Should get a rising star nom.

Any other team he'd have one for sure...

And barely got a mention from the commentary

Staggering how poor the commentators were that they did not even mention this in his 4th game.

They were all over Cam Rayner ;last week against us with his 19 touches... not mention of Worps with 32.

Hahaha if Burton and Rioli cannot win the rising star and Morrison hasn't even got a nomination Worpel is zero chance.

They'd give it to a 1st year player yet to play a game before giving it to a hawk.

I was listening to the TripleM call, and they mentioned him quite a few times, referring to him as "your man, Worpel" towards the end and commenting that "the hawks have found another one"

My sources tell me that Gil and his cronies have changed the Rising star rules so that all three members of the holy trinity will win it.

The only ‘we’ve found another one’ I can think of is Morrison? Possibly Sicily, but that was long ago now.
