It also refutes the AFL's agenda that creating higher scoring games = better games. Today wasn't a high scoring match and yet we still got a ripping contest. Noone is saying I wish they scored more at the end of that.
This was the last game with the normal goal square. Hopefully they piss it off in 2020.
Amazing win, even better when you consider they did it without Naitanui, Sheppard and Gaff

That was one of the better umpired games this year I thought.
Best record against top 8 teams this year.
We deserved that, despite the injuries to Shuey, JK, Darling, Naitanui, Shep and the suspension of Gaff.
We weren't even that clean, lots of dropped marks, but boy those mids stood up and our defence as a whole is tough as nails and tough mentally.

****ing immense game. Collingwood just unbelievable and kept us at bay all game until the last couple of minutes. I still can't believe it. My heart loves this team but a small part of it breaks for the Pies. I do feel for them and their supporters.
To all those who hate on us, do as you please. We have flog supporters like all clubs do. But any side who loses a grand final, I feel for those who are insular and non-antagonistic people.
And to the campaigner who was not even a Collingwood supporter and walked past me at the Royal Show on Thursday who said "Collingwood will win". Eat a massive bag of shit, especially given the club you support you w***er.
