The AFL overseas streaming website is so good now, the stream has gotten better each year so you won't have to miss a game: http://watchafl.afl.com.au/

In the unlikely event that Sweden around Stockholm is on your itinerary you're always welcome around to my place to watch a game too ;).

It's expensive for the overseas streaming now. Thanks man, I'm not off to Sweden but I might have to go visit Aussie instead;), doing France, Italy, England and stopping in Barcelona and Amsterdam. How's the eurovision crowd going there I imagine it attracts some interesting folks?

Interesting viewing last night... after seeing that I think the Crows are very beatable in 5 weeks time, even over there.

With that in mind, grab a win here and I can see us going 5-0.... big ask obviously but hopefully it provides some motivation :)
We were very competitive with them over there last year (got out to a lead early and were still leading by the time Roo got knocked out late in the first quarter, but that seemed to really rattle us and cost us a lot of momentum and Adelaide pulled away as the 2nd quarter went on and got out to a lead that I think they pretty much maintained from that point on.

I remember that we had a LOT more set shots for goal than them that day though, but missed far too many of them, which was largely the difference between the two teams. To add to Nick going off before quarter time, Lonie also got subbed off early in that game after a big shirtfront and from memory, Joey and Geary were late withdrawals, so to be as competitive in general play as we were with them with all that taken into account suggests that we could easily be even more so this year. Betts pretty much beat us on his own that day.

We also played Adelaide Oval very well for most of the game v Port this year, so I don't think it's out of the question by any means.

Sounds like a great trip planned. Enjoy! The internet makes it quite easier to follow the footy from anywhere now. A couple of mates visited me last year and reckon I see way more games than them. As an early riser it's perfect, can watch 2 or 3 game on a weekend before lunchtime.

I got a shock when I moved here regarding Eurovision. I'd always watched it for a laugh but then realised people here actually take it deadly serious which is a bit of a worry .

You know, I haven't visited Saintsational in a long while, and I'm bored so I took a quick squizz.

Someone there suggesting Roberton should come straight back into the side cos he's got 3 kids.

Thank you for saving me, Big Footy. I think I'll just clean my sock drawer next time I'm bored.

And I just read that recruiting Billings was the worst mistake Trout ever made. It took me all of 30 seconds to find it. And another two seconds to find someone who totally agreed. Except that was here.

I like both sites, but the smugness factor is very high at bigfooty.

I heard one of the sandy coaching staff say that 3 or 4 of the boys pulled up quite sore after the kangas game. Including Roo so don't be surprised if there's a couple of late out's for us.
