Do the pictures do it justice? Looking fab!North Ballarat City v Melton later today. Melton take to the ground to get a feel for the conditions. A rare sunny Ballarat June day.
And beyond. Club holds community camps in Horsham each year as well. The partnership with Ballarat is going to be massive, timing could not be better. We own all the territory from the Maribyrnong river to Ballarat.
Drive past everyday and it does look amazing.Do the pictures do it justice? Looking fab!
Yeah, i've driven past it a few times but I feel like it would be even more impressive when you're actually inside the ground, rather than just a quick glance from the road.Drive past everyday and it does look amazing.
It all looks much larger and colourful inside. The stands are built right up to the boundary so of course this makes it seem higher, closer and intimate. The view from the back of the main stand from White Ave is let down by the shoddy old fence line and shabby trees. This may change in time, I'd like to see the council trim those trees right back and put more effort into the landscaping to open the rear of the stand up more.Do the pictures do it justice? Looking fab!
You should stop by the North Ballarat Social Club for dinner or lunch one day. The place is open to the public. The meals are great and very affordable. I shall keep it in mind. The Ballarat Bulldogs supporters group have a couple things planned for there. Don't think I've asked, are you a Ballarat resident? You should stop by the North Ballarat Social Club for dinner or lunch one day. The place is open to the public. You look good in Blue, but then again so does everyone elseThat's me and my crew fifth from the bottom photo. Good day that one!!
Global confectionery brand Mars Chocolate Australia has been announced as the official naming rights partner of Ballarat’s fully renovated stadium.
The City of Ballarat, with the support of the Western Bulldogs, today announced the partnership, which will see Mars Stadium (formerly Eureka Stadium) host the first AFL game for premiership points when the Bulldogs play Port Adelaide in Round 22 on Saturday, August 19.
Anyone else purchased their tickets?
City of Ballarat I believe is paying us money to play there, hence them being on our shorts. Gordon said last year I think that one Cairns game makes us more money than all our Etihad games combined. Memberships out there are just a bonus.Ok again I will ask
Am I the only one who thinks this is just a Sh!t idea????????
It will be embarrassing if we are bottom of the ladder and fail to fill the joint which is what may happen in the future.
I just don't get any upside of this move other than possibly a couple hundred 3 games memberships in the bush
Are the AFL or Ballarat paying us 500k to play a game their ?
Ps I also don't get the Cairns games either . Playing games interstate and in other areas is a start to being relocated in my book. Two games in Ballarat is two games we lose in Melbourne and that is unacceptable IMO.

I thought it was a great idea up until recently when the AFL decided to buy out Ethiad . I mean up til then I was like yep, cannot really get to cairns to watch those games so at least I can make it to Ballarat and it would be a fun trip. But , now we have the option to make a new home stadium deal with the afl at Etihad we should not have to sell out any of our home games. it all comes down to $ which we don't have a lot of so I guess this deal helps but I hope one day in the future we can be strong enough not to sell out games .Ok again I will ask
