Jonathan Brown wasn't much chop in his first game either but fortunately a career goes much longer than one game. Think he will improve over time but today he has been subpar so far.

More that every single commentator wants to spend an hour on him. He'll be great, I have no doubt, but there's other players on the field.

Just caught up live. Great game soo far!

1. Loving our game plan, trying to transition quickly when the opportunity arises but then being selective once WB defence sets.
2. WB mids are lazy running back to defence, so I hope we continue pushing the ball quickly when appropriate.
3. Our CBA needs to improve big time. They've waltzed the ball through the CB, not good enough.
4. Some of our disposals have been horrendous, Papley missing easy handballs. He is very low on confidence.
5. Dawson has been EPIC. Sign him up at halftime!!!
6. McCartin has been brilliant!

The commentators focusing on the two small steps Rampe took for a whole minute, but then not even acknowledging the Bulldogs player taking advantage while the ball was out of bounds just about summed up the coverage for me. Footy coverage in this country is a ******* joke.

Those centre clearances are particularly bad. It doesn't help that the Bulldogs clearances are often so pure as well.

Lloyd has had a few blues but he and Harry are cleaning everything up. They are working do hard, great to see.
