Midfielders who can run and Strong Defenders. Forward line looks ok atm and we have Egan, Dick and Rusling stll out. Rusling will be a star. Who are we eyeing in the draft?

Realistically, do we trade a GOOD (not lonie/rusling) players and pick for a charman/seaby type or take a punt with pick 20ish and hope meeson doesnt turn out to be richards the second. They wont trade for 3rd round pick - No 8 draft who is 20yr old ruckman has not lost that much value yet.Any ruckman drafted this year will be unlikely to have an impact until 2009 at the absolute earliest. That's why we also need to trade for one.
I think we'll take a mid with our first pick, because we're looking like having our first pick around no. 10 and a good mid could slide to us. If we take a ruckman at this pick, it will likely be Tom Bellchambers.
Then whatever we take with our first pick (ruck/mid) we do the opposite with our second. Our third pick should also be a mid, and Jaxon Barham could well be our fourth pick.
I'm assuming of course that MM ignores our ruck situation and doesn't trade our second or third round pick for Meesen/Moran/whoever.
As far as mids go, I would love Chris Masten, but he will likely be gone by then. Rhyce Palmer would be a good one, although has no right foot, and later in the draft (2nd round) I love the look of Veszpremi, who is hard and has elite footskills.
How old is he? Where is he playing? Chris's brother? I wouldnt mind Him if he is good. Just because he could be related to Chris dosnt matter. Still worth a look if we need what he plays for.

Masten would be good.
Mitchell Farmer?Ruckmen and midfielders are priority #1. Small defenders who can do a job would be handy.
I don't think so - We drafted Nathan Brown at #10 overall last year, we have Harry O'Brien, Tyson Goldsack and Shannon Cox developing, and Jack Anthony, who seemed one of our best prospects last year, and will be back in full force next season. Not to mention that Presti and Jimmy probably have another year or two in them at least.Midfielders who can run and Strong Defenders. Forward line looks ok atm and we have Egan, Dick and Rusling stll out.
Definitely the type who could slide though - People suggested that Andrew Swallow was a first round lock, and potential Top 5 pick, and he ended up sliding to #43.He'll go top 10 unfortunately maybe top 5
Is he really going to be rucking effectively at AFL level at 196cm, though?A ruckman. Look no further than Scott Meyer.
Mitchell Farmer?
I seriously have no idea about this draft. Usually I keep up to date with the potential draftees pretty extensively, especially in 2004 and 5 where we were having poor years however even last year when we were finals bound I kept up to date pretty reasonably.
Can anyone point out a good group of draftee profiles or a mock draft for this year (has Weever bought out a set of profiles yet?).
44. Mitch Farmer (BP)
Farmer was unlucky last season as he showed he was a composed back-pocket very much at home in the modern rebounding role. He hits targets by foot, makes good decisions, and shuts down opponents. Probably would have liked to seen better midfield performances. Specialist back-pockets are hardly sought-after on draft day - and Dangerfield and Browne might have him covered.
Whos that Rose that played for Willi this week?
