Who out of Frank Costa, Gary Ablett or mark Thompson, was , in your opinion, the biggest loss to Geelong. I am talking both short-term and long-term. Which of those three departures will hurt us the most, going forward?

Vote now, for the biggest loss to Geelong for 2011 and beyond!

Looking at this from a positive point of view, Ablett going to the GC has allowed us much needed salary cap room. I have absolutely no doubt that this will be a blessing in disguise. In the short term the affect may be a type of solidification within the playing group - a boost in 'camaraderie' so to say. In the longer term, some good(ish) draft picks will now come through, and more games will be put into younger players.

Costa leaving will be well covered by the likely appointment of Colin Carter who I believe will be a great club President.

Thompson built this list - I reckon he will be missed. He instilled the winning (but modest) mindset into the players. He gave so much to this club. Personally I believe that the club will miss what Bomber has brought.

Who is Colin Carter? What does he do, how old is he, does he live in Geelong, does he have new ideas , has anyone seen him or heard him speak?

I'm surprised that Mark Thompson isn't getting many votes.

Frankly , I don't want him to become another Sheedy. Its about time and he was only intending to go another 12 months even if he had a Flag year.

Some fresh blood on field and off is probably required and Im sure we can replace him with someone of quality.

I voted for Costa.
It's a tough question but I probably voted more on who has been the most important to the club.

He was an AFL commissioner.
Here is his bio from seek.

Pretty impressive !

Analyzing the influence of players, I came up with a top number one ruckman. When Ottens was flying and we were playing well, we were invincible. The more he slowed down, the more vulnerable we got. Before Hawkins got injured he was covering up for that a little. I get where Bomber was coming from on that score, pushing Hawkins. Shame Hawkins had an interrupted season.

Bomber was washed up by his own admission, so we won't miss him. Good luck for the future, Bomber.

Costa has given us so much. We won't miss him because he has done his job.

Ablett, when? 2007-9, yes we would have missed him then. 2010, no. He was a distraction. His little dramas took the focus off the team.
