Varcoe looks like he just farted, Greenwood looks like he's missing chromosomes, but Crispy, he looks the likely type.

Oh and Pick 5 looks like he needs to hit the gym.

Nah the rest of the competition is in trouble, we just recruited Slender Man.

If we are not going to trade by 5 for a player, the pick must be used on Levarde with out a doubt. 189cm half back - midfield player is exactly what we need at the club and a good kick.

Scharenberg and Levarde in 2-3 years time off the half back like, oooooh mumma!

I would package Pick 5 with Pick 30 to St Kilda for Pick 1

I wouldn't.

Looking at footywire, and previous drafts, often pick 5 is better than pick 1.

2013: Boyd or Kolodjashnij
2012: Whitfield or Stringer
2011: Patton or Buntine
2010: Swallow or Polec
2009: Scully or Cunnington
2008: Watts or Hurley
2007: Kreuzer or Grant
2006: Gibbs or Boak
2005: Murphy or Pendlebury
2004: Deledio or Franklin
2003: Cooney or McClean
2002: Goddard or McVeigh

Out of that list pick 5 seems to hold up well without the stress of being the 'number one' pick.

Notice how recently the number 1 picks are becoming more and more successful.

You had my support until you thought Boyd has been more of a success so far than KK. After one season, KK leads Boyd by the length of the Flemington straight.

With GWS now with pick 4 - for the draft experts out there - will someone therefore be available at our pick that mightn't have been with the Dogs having that pick?
