North Melbourne (the team Collingwood just overcame thanks to the umpires, by a solitary point, rather than the demolition you were all expecting) - their most recent losing record is the worst since Fitzroy graced the field.

I believe it was 18 straight losses before last week .

I take my hat off to The Dirty Birds, they found a way to get past The Mighty North Melbourne.

Means very little, on average there are 3 changes to the 8 each year and mist clubs don't go back to back

Didn't you pretty much say word for word: 'Carlton only made a Prelim because they played out of their skins, the umpires helped them there and they had plenty of luck & the opposition had injuries - in particular Port who had 7 changes'.

Been an issue for a while - well before Kane took over. The lack of accountability with the umpires from the AFL is crazy.

If the 50m penalty was paid the AFL would have ticked it off and said that players should play to the whistle. And people wonder why umpiring continues to get worse...

Yeah I was wrong - before playing Dirty Birds they’d lost 31 of their last 33 games .
