The club stuck to it's refresh strategy with a new coach & footy manager after the infamous camp & cancer of the last 2 years.

We have cleared out most of our older players (we were the 3rd oldest list) & loaded up on draft picks for our best ever draft hand - #4, #23, #28, #45, #49... to bring in the next gen.

Also, we have brought in future picks for next year's draft for Edwards & Borlase.

We have lost 2 best 22 players, depth & experience... but that's what happens with a refresh.

Unlikely to make the finals next season, but at least the club has reset with core experienced players to support the next gen coming through.

For all anyone knows a new coach and style may change everything. Good or bad, look at how much a coaching change did to Carlton' s second half of the season. People with the mass exodus line we lost 9 players. Did Carlton, Freo and port have a mass exodus? Their list changes are 10,8 and 8

By keeping our first rounder next year we are still going to have had four first rounders in four years + hill.

we are still believing in the draft we also took 5 last year and next year we have round 1,3 and 4.

this year we have upgraded Wilkie who is also going to be clear best 22 - it’s very clever planning

No. Jenkins cost next to nothing.
Crows paying a significant amount of his salary and the 3rd rounder we got back for next year is the Suns. So should be before 40.

Pick 37 for likely pick 40 or better... and don't have to pay him in full.
The trade period equivalent of being traded for a packet of chips and a can of coke.
Significant part of his salary? He’s on 450k at most each of the next two years and we are paying half, I’m very happy with that.

Happy with our KPDs and keeping pick 13. There is a sneaky chance Melbourne pick up Jack Martin in the PSD so could end up "delayed winners"

Half of a salary not to play at your club would be something I'd deem significant. Most would.

It’s effectively less than half the average wage of an AFL player, it’s significantly better than having to keep him on the list at full salary.
Better than 100% of his salary not to play at the club.
Are either of you actually trying to refute what I said or is this a pointless conversation?
I stated we got him for what likely is a minimal pick downgrade from one year to the next and that the Crows are paying a significant amount of his salary. Given it is half, what part of that is in inaccurate?

is Stengle going to make it?
Got the talent & the tricks... just needs to up his fitness levels. Should get a decent go next year with Eddie leaving.

McAdam is the one I'm really looking forward to next year with the x factor.

The part where we both won
