Because for Jordan Ridley it means SFAThe shakier and the more dodgy the process is found to be, the more the finding of "drug cheats" looks like a manufactured result. How can that be bad for the players?

They've been punished for 3 years before then sitting out for another. I'm pretty sure they just want to get on with whatever is left of their playing careers without this shit dragging on and on and on.How can that be bad for the players?
And this.Because for Jordan Ridley it means SFA
who's Jordan Ridley?Because for Jordan Ridley it means SFA
Jesus..who's Jordan Ridley?
Depends on what is said, really. If it shows the process to be wrongful, thye could get a big payout from the AFL at the end of it to make up for the 3 years of hell they went through as pawns in the optics game. They've been punished for 3 years before then sitting out for another. They've already been compensated. They just want to play football.Depends on what is said, really. If it shows the process to be wrongful, thye could get a big payout from the AFL at the end of it to make up for the 3 years of hell they went through as pawns in the optics game.
yes, and they can. But for those now out of the system - and there were 34 of them, they might well want answers from the AFL, especially when it doens't involve them doing anything further. They've already been compensated. They just want to play football.

It certainly doesn't add as much as -If they had recorded discussions with someone from AFL/ASADA then fair enough but this is no evidence of anything. Don't even think it's that newsworthy.
linkAndruska’s notes taken from the same meeting spell out what that outcome would be: “Deal with AFL — support staff sacked, points off, players off.’’ Essendon coaches would lose their jobs, Essendon would be stripped of premiership points and dumped from the finals series and the players would escape sanction.
This was the deal ratified by the AFL Commission three months later.
All the HTB foamers who believe that Hird/Thompson were some sorts of evil geniuses might need to heed this particular line:
"THOMPSON:
You know what we have to do, mate, we have to find out what actually happened. Don’t f--king believe what’s in the report."
This power animal should have won Nicholas Cage an Oscar.just look at the bunny people
So there are other recorded meetings that are yet to be released and the AFL may be exposed as corrupt.
Everyone knows the AFL is corrupt. All this will do is serve to make the masses hate Essendon for longer as they are over it.
Yay, like there isn't enough hate already, this happens on the eve of a season when we're supposed to have clean air. "None of these people are at the club any longer, they can do what they want and they must've done it without club knowledge" some people say - it doesn't matter, the public will hang it on the club regardless of whether it's true.
Gil and Co may get dragged through the mud for a bit. So what? They have thick skin, are not stupid and are made of teflon.
This is serving no purpose.
“There is nothing new in this other than salaciousness and this and that, from a group of people who are clearly aggrieved at the situation.”
Posted at the beginning of the thread, that Taylor's court action was part of a bigger master plan, to force a Senate Inquiry - The word revenge has been spoken about freely in this thread - Mick Warner has balls and nothing fires up individuals like having your AFL final's accreditation stripped in 2013.
No it is over. Players have been compensated. Nothing will happen, all this does is bring up old wounds.Might sound like a stupid question but will the club and players get some kind of compensation for the way the saga was handled?
That's exactly the point.Might sound like a stupid question but will the club and players get some kind of compensation for the way the saga was handled?
