That was most likely first game nerves.Looks extremely clean and skillful but not sure he has the fitness for a full game at AFL level. Looked pretty gassed and to be walking when he could have made a contest.

Only problem was Murphy was on the end of itThe kick as Dennis Committee would say was centimetre perfect, was the highlight of the night for me
Stats say he had 4 clangers in his short time on ground. 2 of those were frees against.
Hope they don’t count that kick into the open forward line that Allir ran on to as a clanger. Probably meets the definition but was a great kick and we got a goal out of it.
It was ore of a comment that we should be doing that kind of thing. He went to 5 of a possible 8 CBA’s. What more do you want, besides more game time

Turns out "rule 19" all those years ago was actually "wait three years to debut an obvious talent".
From memory, were you concerned with his fitness over pre season bigman? An obvious talent that couldn’t keep up with anyone in the pre season running. Outside of talent, you have to be able to run as a midfielder and prior to Christmas Taylor was embarrassingly poor.
Full credit to the kid for working hard to close the gap and now a well deserved debut.
Note we debuted Soligo straight away - suspect his work ethic was many times greater than Zac’s

Yep, a theme of big man's preseason reports was that Taylor had gone from an obvious outlier in the running drills to being in the pack.I recall Bigman reporting a story where Rachele, after finishing his run, ran back to encourage Zac through his finishing burst. It was mentioned a number of times how poor his running was
However it was also mentioned after Christmas he had clearly improved in this area

They play a very similar game, enjoyed seeing what he could do last night and there's always room for more talent like SoliIs it too much of an early crow to say he’ll be just as good as Soli? Looked absolutely all class
8 clearances from 18 touches in your first full game is absurd
For all his ott celebrating, Rachele seems like a good blokeThis is correct boys
I'm not going to defend the selectors but he's spent a lot of that time injured hasn't he?Completely outrageous it took until 3/4 of the way through his 3rd year to get a full game
