I know they play in different positions but it is honestly ridiculous how many games Mullin has played and we have barely used Clohesy.

Clark was ok, COS outstanding.

Mannaghs cleanness stands out when you watch what we had tonight. He's just a one touch player.

Ruckman desperately needed. Dekoning is neither a ruckman or a footballer. He severaly lacks intensity and desperation.

Dangerfield isn't a forward. If you're unreliable in front of goal or can't make the distance with 20m snaps stick to what you know.

Ruck is definitely needed but we don't have one (he's in the injury room).

I've seen enough of Jack Bowes to say that that recruitment is a bust. The man is 27 now and is still producing games you would expect from a nervous 18-year-old. When he's good he's a solid footballer, but these types of games are always around the corner with him.

Far too inconsistent. 1 good game a month from Bowes.

I wasn't as impressed with Clark as some others are, and these two players are intrinsically linked at this club.

14 touches @50% is okay for a young player. But that's about it.

Damn that was a hard watch, COS and Clohesy were the only things that made it ok to watch, good effort by those boys! Please take an example of the oppositions pressure from tonight, if we had that with our talent it would be amazing. Jeremy Cameron tonight I hated the way he played or was told to play, we just needed him in the 50.

Cameron was moved to the wing after halftime as he was having next to no impact up forward in the first half

We needed to switch things up, and that was a pretty obvious move to make to try and get him into the match and also give our forward line a different look

I can imagine that if we didn't make any moves at halftime that there would have been complaints about trying to do the same old thing and expecting a different result

Agreed. Insipid 1st half effort tonight notwithstanding, we go into nearly every game with a three goal handicap even before we walk out onto the field.

Watch how he went about it. The class by hand and vision you can't teach it and his defensive efforts are fantastic. The problem is his body is nowhere near strong enough for the role he needs to be playing.

You gotta realise this is our rebuild, O'Sullivan, Neale, Humphires, Clark, Knevitt, Clohesy. When you accept that you will also be proud. Yes the saints r f**king s**t and won't make finals but the little comeback minus the fumbles and missed opportunities (Danger why are you taking shots from 50 out ) should get you hopeful.

Are you underestimating how good the saints first half was? Hawks won’t play as well as that. Macrae is exactly the sort of player the saints need. He is skilful and he refused to lose in that last 10 minutes. Showed them the way.
