There was also Wilson in the scratchies, I can see them bringing willo back in, I would love to see Erasmus in for Banfield and Darcy will be a good addition. I just have nfi who to drop hahaha.
If Nathan Wilson returns, does he go in the back line? I dont mind hom having a chance in a wing or forward flank. It seems like the wings and forward flanks will be rotated

He needs a change, looks a bit disinterested these days...

in the scratchie against the Weags his performance was on a par with Clark. Didn't look disinterested at all. Looked dangerous.

If we can't rely on scoring from our forward set up We really need to find goals from the midfield and running half backs.

If this was a "must win" game (which it is) I would find it difficult to justify including Henry, Walters and Meek. We have better options.
That was Henry's first game on the wing. We have committed to developing Henry so it is only fair he gets a few more games on the wing to prove he belongs at the top level for now.

Meek is more agile than Darcy which will come in handy in the wet. Resting an injury prone Darcy for an extra round, while giving Meek the extra experience outweighs the negatives.

As for Walters, **** knows. He deserves to be given a few more chances but as you say it is a must win game.

If the plan was to play him in another position we would have seen it in the pre-season.

Maybe i'm just picking on him for his mistake and injury feign last season. I should forgive and forget. :$

The end result of what you are saying is that we are in development mode not contention mode. That would be a major disappointment.

It should immediately end Walters career too as he has been carried for quite a while and we should be developing other options.

Henry played wing towards the end of last season. Aish has shown he is a better option right now. Colyer too. Blakeley even. Crowden. O'Driscoll.

The only justification for playing Meek is if Darcy is not available. It significantly reduces our chances of winning.

Chapman just played on a 6 goal small forward. I liked the post where Rachelle's goals were looked at, and I don't hold Chapman responsible, but I'm also not convinced he is the best option.
He's not, our backline is too tall. If Young/Clark are the rebounders we need a lock-down small defender which I think should be Walker. That leaves Ryan/Cox/Pearce/Logue. Obviously one starts on the bench.

Membrey is a unit and good at overhead marking at the highest point. Logue might struggle, a good game by him would go a long way to a win.
Logue is a unit. Membrey will be too agile for Cox or Pearce and especially when they have King/Marshall/Hayes which are better matchups for them.

Conca started last year as a really good lock down defender for the smalls

Having a list clogged in Banfield getting games instead of Erasmus is just painful.

That shank was just horrendous.
Duff pretty much said on his podcast thay while Bailey may be the best bloke in the world, great trainer and so forth if he cant kick a goal 15m out in front he shouldn't be playing AFL footy.

And it's time Fremantle started weeding out the players who simply cant execute a basic skill of kicking for goal.

You can coach and recruit players to put in the same effort as the likes Banfield can produce.

Jesus then we wouldn’t have Tabs or Lobb

Well i think he had the gun aimed at banfield over his pathetic attempt.

But seriously Tabs and lobb are paid to kick to goals we should be expecting more.

The most frustrating thing i found with Tabs his whole career is he would kick a goal then get another chance again shortly after to go B2B and would miss the next one. He just can never get on a roll and land 3 in a quarter when he gets opportunities.

Its why he has never kicked a major bag.

Something different.

FB: Ryan Hamling Logue
HB: Walker Pearce Aish
C: Clark Young Chapman
