Jeremy Loose Man Howe. 3 votes.

Loose Man. The loose man in defence is when a defending player does not have a direct opponent and is available to assist other defenders as necessary. The defender is loose as he does not have someone he is attached to.

Problem was that his direct opponent who Loose Man Howe was not attached to, had a field day in goal set-ups.

Cameron.

Missed a soda from the top of the goal square then gets in the way of his own team mate to stuff up a shot at goal in the last quarter.
That was on WHE imo.
He should‘ve called Cameron in or out of the mark.
Not jumped on him.
The crowd yelled talk!

Yes - it's a boring nomination I know, but the Hyphen (WHE: he likes to be called that in inner circles), has my 2 votes after Loose Howe was BOG.

The "Hyphen" reminds me of a fine whippet type specimen at Cranbourne Greyhounds in Race 5,,, Lean, hungry, and primed to dominate. All punters believe that the time is now for the Hyphen to exceed.

Unfortunately the Hyphen is allergic to rabbits, and leather.

Never to race again,,,

The Hyphen has cruised into the top 5. Looks set for a good season of whipping. Can’t see him overtaking Grundy.

Moore making some impressive moves now that his contract has been finalised. Six years of relentless whipping to come.

Lipinski is the surprise mover. Only four games in and already labeled soft by seasoned whippers.

I think people are being very harsh on Darcy Moore and Jeremy Howe. They are under coaches instructions to makejack Madgen look like a fool.

Not to get too technical….

But Hymen would be more appropriate….

The 3 2 1 for yesterday

3 Darcy Moore - was the Eagles second most effective forward
2. Grundy - played OK but lost the key battles in the middle that led to instant Eagle goals.
1. Sidebottom - I thought he wasn't playing but someone said they saw him effect a tackle.

And the whipping season has really come to life. .

Lippa looks like an absolute ripper. He won't get dropped for years. He'll just be always there - a bit too pretty and nice and not quite good enough to make up for those horrible weaknesses. He is going to devour the whips for years to come. Serious potential to become an Obree or Ben Johnson level hall of famer.

Lipinski could even reach Matthew Lokan heights.

Lokan really knew how to draw the whips, but he wasn't the complete package, as he didn't know how to stay on the list or in the team for long enough. I think we're looking at a Shane Obree type of career. He's got the traits where we may be able to whip him for the best part of a decade.

O’Bree was a favourite of mine. That team should have won a flag.

Now that Moore has joined Grundy in the unworthy contract stakes, expect this pair to win hand down. They are they real whipping boys now. Magden is whip worthy every week and we would be disappointed if he was not. Pendlebury and Sidebottom really whippable for their extreme softness. Both gave Eagles an easy pathway to goals. Cal Brown whipworthy because he cannot adjust to the tempo of AFL. Cameron for moving like a donkey. We will need a lot of whips. Henry and Reef for being whippersnappers but they get some leeway because of their age.

So Moore is a failed forward and struggling in defence. Where do we 'hide' him next?

Look, I’m going to give you a warning. You don’t appear to understand the point of the thread. Last chance.

I’m surprised there’s not more fly in here. He’s surely leapt to the lead for being the sole cause of our (mounting) losses. I can’t see him failing to win this. The more he smiles and sounds reasonable, the more the players pledge their love for him, the greater the admiration dished out by his assistants - the more he will be whipped.

I picked Lippa early on, not a surprise mover in the estimation of this seasoned observer of the whip.

His good looks and good performance in round 1 have set him up for this success.

Well done, Pat.

Fly loves pushing the line that “we are young and developing”. Conditioning us. Don’t be fooled.

Scott Pendlebury- cops a lot of shit even though he is one of 3 players on our list that can kick a drop punt competently.

The thing with Pendles is that he's always been too good to whip. But he's always been too smooth to look desperate and he's not thuggish enough. Now that he's playing defence without really being able to defend it's time the whips caught up with him. It's been a long 16 year wait, which is going to make the lashing doubly satisfying.

Lashings hurt Pendles more because of time slowing down for him.
