. Butler needs a rev up as well. He's been down on form.

????? Your kidding.

Today was not his best game, but he has had a very good season to date playing in the small pressure forward role. His previous game was stellar.

You do understand that his role is different from say Higgins or Gresh?

Jones, Billings & Clark should all be made to earn a spot with VFL form. Butler needs a rev up as well. He's been down on form.
Surely you jest?

Butler has been terrific for us this year

It's not all about how many goals he kicks

He is rating elite for tackles, tackles inside 50 and pressure acts

Not much credit going Lade's way, I thought he did a good job filling in for Ratts as an assistant coach.

No doubt Ratts was on the phone to Lade to give him some advice like telling Higgins, King and Gresham to kick goals.

He forgot to tell Butler to kick goals though.

Telephone line give me some time, I'm living in twilight.

I missed most of the game and will rewatch it later. Did switch on late in the fourth when we had a handy lead and I was really excited to see Windhager trailing Touk at stoppages. Will only help him understand where the level is for the elite footballers and maybe give him something to aspire to become.

Before the game started, I thought Markov's inclusion suggested that they were concerned with our pace.

I would say he's still very skinny in terms of Ruckman size, he needs more muscle. Is he AFL body ready, I would think not but I would not be surprised to see him debut soon if he keeps playing this way.
obviously skinny for a ruck but surely he's not too skinny to be a forward. There's plenty of young key forwards or tall forwards who make do with tenacity and height. He's taller and heavier than King, nowhere near the forward craft but in terms of body on body he should be fine as a forward

I'm really optimistic about NWM. Since Gresh, Max he's probably the 3rd draftee that's got me hooked since the first game he played. That kicking ability reminds me of Dal, Lenny a lot. He makes those risky kicks look like nothing to him, he just laces them out. I also think he will take a mark of the year soon.
He’s building a reputation for being very clean as well. Rarely ever see him fumble. Reckon we might have nailed the pick

4 Down 8 to go
Beat GWS, Percentage Booster Port, Bad Loss to Melbourne to force the team to not get overconfident, Close loss or Close win to Geelong to prove we're up there with the best.

Once we survive Dees and Cats we get Adelaide and North to get free wins again.

that's 4 from the next 6.
