Pittonet out with a PCL should help CCJ’s return.
I said in another thread that we should manage Goldy so we could look at X + CCJ. But on hearing this I've changed my mind.

Goldstein to play first ruck and give De Koning an absolute lesson.

I would hazard a guess that Ziebell will swing back this week given no BMac and we need to cover Curnow, McKay and Silvagni

Does he know who he is? If he does, then Gullan is a bit daft.
To be honest no one who doesn’t support north is going to be enamoured with Perez he’d be strictly picking a side to win not develop, potential and all that stuff would be non considerations for him

We look at him as a talented emerging player and should be retained but a neutral won’t see it that way.

I think it’s a reasonable neutral take, but I don’t think Perez should or will get dropped

Time to throw the magnets around and actually try something.

I’d send Larkey to CHB in lieu of McKay. Corr can play FB. Walker can have a spell, he’s rubbish.

Comben and CCJ come both come in as our forward combo.

Need to drop a ruckman. Xerri has a spell. I’d give Goldy first ruck, for a couple of weeks, if he’s still rubbish then Xerri comes in for the rest of the season and Goldy retires.

I’m not sure we need Turner doing nothing? He can have a spell.

Sorry Mahoney lovers, he’s rubbish too. He can have a spell.

The small forward combo does nothing. Let move Atu forward. TT to a HBF to be our seagull, feed him at every opportunity. Sleevo on ball / wing as he can actually rack it up.

In summary:

Out: Walker (delist), McKay (susp), Turner (omit), Mahoney (omit) Xerri (managed)

In: CCJ, Comben, Powell, Sleevo, Ford

FB - Young - Corr - Perez
HB - McDonald - Larkey - Thomas
C - Powell - LDU - Sleevo
HF - JHF - Comben - JZ
FF- Atu - CCJ - P Curtis
R - Goldy - Simpkin - Greenwood
Int - Taylor - Zurharr - Scott - Ford
Agree with to his line up would like to see it happen. I'd swap comden for larkey.hes played chb in juniors before... Jz with Thomas.

I was talking to a mate who’s brother’s son was the boy who Sam Gibson was kicking footballs at at the North Melbourne family day few years back, and he reckons Comben is a certain to come in, and will kick 5. He is a 5 game country member though, so make of that what you will.

I laughed.

Corr is listed at 195cm and was the same height as Jezza Cameron when they showed them on screen after the match on Sunday. He's getting big bucks. He can play as an effin' KPD for one match.

At 6ft 5 and 97 kgs, if he can’t play KPD, you’d kind of wonder why we bothered getting him in.

With McKay out and our main prime mover out indefinitely, the constant playing of 2 rucks has broken me emotionally and on top of the fact we now sit dead last on the ladder there’s not much more that could go wrong this season that would phase me.

Yes, more things can go wrong but I’ve made bed with it so I’ll try and find the lighter side of our issues and gather whatever joy I can from what will be another car crash of a season.

The only way is up and the first positive is we can’t travel further down the ladder than 18th.

The new Bigfooty legend…
Wish him well with it but can see him playing VFL again unfortunately no matter how many of us are asking for him to play

I really hope not!

Atu over Mahony? WOW!

Have you actually been watching what Atu has been producing? Stengle made him his personal bitch for 3 quarters and Noble had no alternative but to get him out the defence. That was on the back of Weightman making a fool of him for a quarter before he had to be moved.

The guy is a turnip and you are suggesting he stay in the side on what basis?
That we try him in a forward pocket, as per my post?
