I’m wary of trading for Jackson. As good as he might become the trade and salary cap cost is too high for a position that can be filled through the rookie draft or through an astute trade for a ruck lacking opportunity behind an established no.1 ruck

I’m not a particularly big Tim English fan but I’d rather keep our powder dry for a FA offer in 2024

Can’t find a dollar value but it’s 5 years and Essendon were reportedly offering $750k

He’s also 201cm so just 1cm taller than Callum Jamieson which gives some hope that Jamo could develop into something given time
