Unless Saints need money for a big time recruit there is no requirement for them to dump Hills salary. Getting him on the cheap would be great but I just don’t see it happening.

Maybe there’s other ways they want to spend 900k on their existing list

Humans are almost anatomically symmetrical and so are Sherrins. So I wonder why left footers are (or are seen to be) better kicks?

There have been so many players classed as having a raking left foot but I’ve never heard of anyone with a raking right foot.

If they don’t take us up on the offer this year, you wouldn’t think that there will be any other suitors and they will be stuck with the $900k for the remaining 3 years?

In saying this, it does sound strange to me as Hannebery has retired that would have been on good coin and they would have budgeted for DeGoey that hasn’t eventuated. Paddy Ryder has also retired and Long is gone so they should be ok cap wise based on this? Apart from King and Steele, they are a bunch of spuds so no idea who is taking up all their money?

I can’t understand why they would be so desperate to offload Hill that they would even provide us with a future 2nd to make it more enticing? Then to take this 2nd back for Clarke means we are virtually getting both players for free, like delisted free agents?

They're not happy to get in Hannebury and Hill and then lose Clark as they feel he's gonna come good real soon, as in a good run of form and without injury. As well as being a #7 pick. Have poked a couple of bears, but no response yet

Got nothing out of 1 mate, other than he's gonna be "really pissed off" if he goes. I suggested that he might need some "encouragement" at training, got nothing back. Might just be Stink kilda doing Vossy things

I think maybe more to do with the fact that 89% the population is right handed so muscle memory of the opposition leads itself to always naturally try to corral/defend the right side of players first as that’s what your are used to. Doesn’t relate to anything in terms of being a ‘raking’ left footer, just being a genuine good kick as you have more time?

My only concern with Hunter , why do the Saints want him gone ? He has plenty of talent but been injured recently is there something we don’t know ?

Yeah I don’t get it either. Especially if it got done for a future second. With him being contracted, it really doesn’t make sense.
