We need to get young Tregenza. He is not as Athletic as other Tall Fwds but stick him in the Square and we have the next Old style big goal kicking Full Fwd. Make it happen 2nd round pick.
When JD retires Oscar can move out to CHF.
Tregenza Full Fwd.
2nd Round

West coast equal favourite for spoon on one betting website. Tipped to finish 17 on another. Many argued with me for suggesting west coast will be bottom 4 next year, seems I was being a little positive ? There are supporters that tend to overrate their own teams, I'm not one of them, not a pessimist either, just a realist. Most other lowly finishing teams have a swag of youth to fall back on for improvement, north, bombers, gws.
We will be relying mostly on players who are injury prone and in their twightlight more so than the other clubs. The only sustainable way forward is to get enough youth from the draft and get enough games into them. Our older players can then compliment the youth but that can't happen at the moment because there are too many oldies and not enough youth.

The few youngsters we have are not ready, we will be relying on creeking knees, arthritic backs and old hips.

on our salary cap, we also lost Shep this year??

So, at a guess....
Shep $500K
JK $300K
Rioli $300K
Nelson $200K

There is $1.3m and wasn't there a story about NN taking a paycut for 2023?
~350K is the median salary (I think it's 330, but not 100% sure straight off the top of my head)... I would have thought Rioli and definitely JK would be above the median salary (JK by quite a bit even in his older age).

Hopefully anyway... the more spare money the better.

I think you mean average. The median would probably be closer to 300k. Someone like JK would have taken a lower contract whe he signed on for a year so would have unlikely been on much more than the average pay

Just saw this on Marketplace.

This appears to be where the wheels fell off in 2001 - I always rated that our worst year…until this year obviously.

But this basically ended Dean Kemp’s career and shouldn’t be forgetten.

So you’re telling me Dean Kemp, my childhood idol, is the original eshay?

As they all should if they're part of Simpsons retirement home, yet going around again for another year.

Priority should be on locking down the stars in the rise, not past hero's and former "A graders".

Although we have very few admittedly. Allen, Barrass, um Lenny, that other guy.. Relton, Tunbridge.

If he's anything like his old man, he's worth the punt for sure.
