Tippa kicked 34 goals in 2021 & had 27 of those after 11 games. He knows how to kick a goal & would compliment our other small forwards.

Depending on his current fitness level & how much he needs to do to get himself back to reasonable fitness, you’d take him on for the right price.

Look as a largely free hit I’ll welcome AMT. we do lack that genuine goal scoring small. We seem to have a heap of high pressure smalls, that don’t hit the scoreboard.

It’s a decent swing of the bat by Freo.

Worst that can happen is he doesn’t do anything and we won’t have lost much.

Peak AMT is better than all of our other small forward put together.
We have about 5 average small forwards, 7/10 types.
One of them can play at peel if AMT come in and reaches peak form. Makes us a better team instantly.

Schultz has a contract trigger for 2024. I don't think its overly difficult to meet.

Keeping him after 2024 will be the challenge not 2023.

Unless Essendon do the right thing and delist him, he is not eligible for the SSP as far as I understand the rules. Players that retire have to be off a list for at least 12 months to be eligible to stop the system being rorted. Players delisted can train on immediately
