Great point. Just my personal take, Tiges have come out very well giving up 12 and 19 for Taranto. Hartley is a gun.

Broken recordHey Mr Magic remind me how you feel about Hopper again?
When our supporters think we over paid, but GWS think we underpaid it tends to make me think it was a fair dealGreat point. Just my personal take, Tiges have come out very well giving up 12 and 19 for Taranto. Hartley is a gun.
Something smells here, cameras and media out when Graham arrived. Were port forcing a JHF decision by showing Graham around their headquarters
This Dodoro logic of trying to screw everyone and making it about "winning" at all costs in a deal gets you nowhere in the long run. Richmond know this. How's Essendon looking? There's your answer. When our supporters think we over paid, but GWS think we underpaid it tends to make me think it was a fair deal
Absolutely nothing wrong with that and how it should be
Not really. When you have the flexibility to negotiate a salary from scratch you can do heaps of things to get it over the line. I'm sure they probably wanted to retain him. When you're locked in to contract, you're locked in and you really have no other option but to pay it or dump it.It is in effect the same thing when they can't afford to pay him what we offered or what he and his management wants.
They were stuck in between a rock and a hard place. They had to dump him in a trade over paying him due to other contracts on their books.
If we win one flag it’s a win.
People forget winning flags are bloody hard. Winning 3 in 4 sets the expectation that we’re expected to win more but if we signed both and won 1 flag in the 7 years than it’s a win.
Look at the superstars of the past that never won flags, Buddy, Lockett, Judd to name a few.. it’s bloody hard so gives us one and we win the trades
Pretty sure Judd won a flag at WCE as well. Not sure that is correct...
No thanks we don’t employ downhill skiersAFL.com.au says McDonald tipingwuti considering coming out of retirement. Hope he considers Richmond rather than going back to the failed club he retired from. Big fan of his forward pressure, would be a great mentor for M.Rioli and great depth to put pressure on small forward slots
I would be more happy if the Hopper deal fell through.
I like O'halloran as a player in terms of cap space for GWS, Hopper can be get next year and we know more next year to with our young players.
I think RFC will be in a more comfortable position if we do not get Hopper this year
He hasn’t won one with SydneyNot sure that is correct...

I think its different. It is in effect the same thing when they can't afford to pay him what we offered or what he and his management wants.
They were stuck in between a rock and a hard place. They had to dump him in a trade over paying him due to other contracts on their books.
Ok so didn’t think it’d be too hard for you mob to read but re reading maybe I’ve got to make it simpler..Pretty sure Judd won a flag at WCE as well.
Collingwood traded a future pick 2 for an unwrapped mintie and some chewed bubble gumSydney offered us 6 & 14 for pick 3 when Dusty was drafted.
North were offered 2021 pick 5 (Rachele), 2021 pick 14(Chesser) & 2022 pick 5 for pick 1 last year and still knocked it back.
Clubs just won't trade out of the top 5 for lower first round picks unless the deal is way too good to knock back.
Does Cooney realise Ross just signed a new contract not long ago and can’t be traded within 12 months
Made it to 2 grand finals. He hasn’t won one with Sydney
