Another possibility is we're playing far too much stock on his U18 form and very little on his AFL form. Perhaps we just genuinely believe he's one of the best players in the AFL?

Get over this whole very little AFL. His first year that he played was similar to Rachele. Year just gone played exceptionally for half the year. Young player = breakout. If he was already at his ceiling we would be paying 5 plus next years first

However, given the other deals we are seeing around the league, this is horrendous from Reid.

oh FFS, we are getting a ready made, four year developed good player, formerly pick 3 for a speculative pick 5 of ANOTHER kid who will take who knows how long to develop and insignifcant trade of late picks.

I received word from a credible source today that Gold Coast is going to take Phillipou with pick 5, and in two years he is going to request a trade back home to the Crows.
