Possibly crucial, absolutely vital change to Ken's philosophy has just been shared with me. Spot the difference:

Fitting, because his career at Port Adelaide...

Honestly if that's what the Ken/Carr combo can bring on a regular basis then who cares?

(That's a big IF).

It matters because if you look back at the last 3 years, clearly we played a better style when Schofield/Voss were at the club in 2020 and 2021. We didn't promote either, let them go, and retained Ken and what happened is we burned an entire year in 2022 underperforming as a result.

Its not something to think about this year, but if Carr is the man driving change and I know its too early to say, then I want him in the main seat long-term, and making decisions in big games like finals too.

Let’s not get too exited. We need about 6 rounds.

The third quarter was something else though, haven’t seen a Port team behave like that for a long time.

I don’t recall sitting at a game at AO in the last few years know we’ve won before the start of the 4th quarter.

Did anybody see the presser? Ken’s banging on about ‘humility’ - has he been watching Garry Vee stories on Insta?

Kane Cornes calling changing up the midfield a coaching masterstroke by Ken Hinkley lol. Wouldn't have anything to do with our midfield coach Josh Carr.

I can see it now, Koch with contract and pen in hand for his mate Kenny.

Let's just slam a lid on it and nail that f*cker down...

Power senior coach Ken Hinkley said he didn’t learn “too much” about Horne-Francis despite the stunning debut.
“He is a really solid player for us and a really solid person,” Hinkley said.
“He is home and he is happy and those are the things that help make you a good footballer.
“He is 19, he has a long way to go. He will make mistakes and he will have days where he isn’t quite as good as he was today.
“But he and his family should be mighty proud that he is home.”

Lol is he trying some reverse psychology not mentioning that he basically strapped the team on his back in the 3rd

Dont say negative bullshit like "he will make mistakes" as that is like excuses for doing dumb shit and having bad days.

Just say "what he did today was excellent but the challenge is producing that every week and he has that challenge infront of him now."

Sign him for another 10

in before some Gen-Z social media maven contracted by the club as a consultant to take the temperature of Port Nation reads this, and it’s declared the deciding vote for Koch to “give the people what they want”.

This is the exact type of shit I expect. We have a young gun who relishes the contest, how about pumping him up? Instead he does everything he can to stomp out expectations rather than learn to accept them as a group and deal with them.

"A lot of credit must go to Josh Carr, and what he's done with this midfield group since coming on board this pre-season".

Arguing with Facebook nuffies (I know I know) saying I ain't a real supporter and go follow the crows for keeping it real and taking it week by week.

I say you ain't a real Port Adelaide supporter if you tell a Port Adelaude supporter to support the crows.
