Please stop gifting games to Turner. 6 disposals and 2 tackles, how long has he been putting up these types of numbers, always the same since his rookie year. Yeah he applies pressure, so what, any muppet can apply pressure. Set some higher standards Clarko, this is not how you 3-peated
Nuffie comment. He's not been gifted games, he's clearly impressed the coaches throughout preseason and has earned his spot. His spot looks precarious now and I'd expect him to be dropped

If we had a full team the last 2 weeks, then 3 & 1 would be worse case scenario..
Maybe. But Hawks weren't at full strength either, and the Blues were nowhere near full strength. They had at least 5 best 22 players missing today.

The results the last 2 weeks could have been worse, but at least we fought back in both games for honorable losses, whereas in recent years they would have been 50+ point losses.

Just had to have subbed out Larkey and put Cunners out of the goal square. Fully understand the structural benefit a tall gives you, but there’s no way Larkey would have been any more effective in the air than Cunnington could have been.

Zurhaar is THAT close to absolutely ripping a game to shreds. He could have had a monster night if he finished his work a little better. He’s been a massive positive so far, loving the energy he’s bringing for longer.

With a few shiny new toys it’s easy to forget about the impact Simpkin has on this team. Just ease up on the push to transition him out of the engine room.

PC going like a busted. Criminal that Howe got a gig over Goater.

How good is it watching LDU and Sheezus every week?

Team showed a ton of ticker and we can be proud of that. Just missing a couple of pieces and a bit of luck. On we march.

We just don't have depth to cover losses atm, just can't go against a side with McKay and Curnow atm without our McKay and Logue, I am actually pleasantly surprised how the game panned out after Logue got done at the tribunal. With Larkey getting hurt in the first quarter he really didn't give us anything, should have subbed him out for Greenwood and push Comben to FF. Comben wasn't really giving us anything at half forward. We really need to get an A grade FF in the draft this year.
We just drafted a gun forward in George.

And we probably missed one in Logan.

1,2,4th quarters were good. Maggots absolutely cruelled us in the third quarter.

Would’ve been a hell of a different game if just one of McKay or Logue was available.
This game exposed more weaknesses for Carlton than for us. While our forward line is still pox and we know that not having only one KPD will make things better, Carlton on the other hand have pretty big issues with their midfield.

They have some individual stars which will mean they will continue to win games, but I don’t know if their system will go far in finals.

It's all okay. The commentary team led by the dispossessed Brownlow Medallist said nothing to worry about. Good to have influential fans.
The ball is not even seen in the frame. There is no way that they cannot call that a week, maybe a couple. But, the AFL is as brazen with their corruption as any major sporting code in the world, so…

The list is cooked mate. Big turnover coming at the end of the year, no doubt about it
I don't really think so, as much as others. Within the next year we bring in Xerri (clearly favoured now before his early injury), Wardlaw, George, two more first rounders, and hopefully Thomas. That isn't including Logue and McKay who didn't play yesterday either. That's 5-6 players pushed out or at least fighting harder for their spots.
