This kid HAS to win the Rising Star. If they give it to Ashcroft i'll f*cking throw up. Ashcroft gets easy footy, out the back, never fills into the drop zone and cheap possies in the backline at the end of the game or last quarter. He's a genuine cream on top at this point. Sheezel is a deadset first picked every week, he's crucial to our team and puts his head over it every single damn time and then makes a great decision afterwards. Unforunately i've seen who picks the Rising Star and theres barely a brain cell there.
Why don't you wait until the whole season runs out before jumping to conclusions one way or the other. Sheezel is excellent, and so is Ashcroft.

Fluffed a couple of kick ins. Good game, but as sloppy as he has been this year, still one of our best. The conditions clearly didn’t help, or the way the rest of the team were going.

Yeah, he’s 18, played 5 games, I’ll cut him some slack for a little slop here and there.

What a way to score your first! Sheezus!
Thats why im happy with leaving half back in almost the quarterback role. Its so important to hit those targets as we saw today. But not only that, this guy is good enough to average a goal a game as well. Half backs get their chances once the zone presses up.

Ive been looking at Sheezel and Ports first this year for JHF. Then Wardlaw with our 22 first. Make no mistake JHF will be a gun, but im more than happy with just Sheezel, big bonus getting their first as well.

Yeah that's a fair comment. At this point, Harry has his nose in front but we are not even quarter of the way through the season. If games were over after less than a quarter, then we would have been a fair chance yesterday.

I feel sorry for the kid, having to put his body on the line so many times already for this s**t team. Nick Daicos still hasn’t felt body contact in one and a bit years.
He has been let down a little by our “interceptors” not filling the hole when it it’s kind of their only role.

McDonald and to lesser extent Ziebell and Corr need protect him more by killing the incoming balls with spoils and marks.

You guys need to give him a 4 year deal now. Absolute gun.

Doing better than Daicos in a much poorer team (no offence here, just pointing out how good the kid is).
another comparison, playing exclusively in the backline has kicked 1 goal less for the entire year than the port # 1 draft gun recruit who plays midfield and rests in the forward line! also more tackles for the year than their "inside bull"

Wow! JHF has absolutely doubled the scoring tally of Sheez. No wonder Kane Kornes thinks he's the next Kane Kornes.
