Not a chance in hell.

Daicos was getting Annabel Chonged from the media last year with a season average of around 25 per game.

30+ disposals a game in a rookie season from an 18 year old is absolutely unprecedented.

It also won't happen.

I'm expecting him to be moved forward for a few games, which will dent his averages.

We'll have to make do with 20 touches and 5 goals

Anyone following his junior career has been saying that it does NOT matter where he is played, he will find a way through will/endurane/nous to not only get involved but have huge impact (as much as the word gets overused). I am sure if recruiters were making amendments to "impact" in an illustrated Oxford/Macquarie dictionary, they would be cut and pasting a picture of this guy in there.

Where ever he plays, he will get it done.

If you are going to mention Oxford, one of their famous commas would be nice.

Not everyone.

This kid HAS to win the Rising Star. If they give it to Ashcroft i'll f*cking throw up. Ashcroft gets easy footy, out the back, never fills into the drop zone and cheap possies in the backline at the end of the game or last quarter. He's a genuine cream on top at this point. Sheezel is a deadset first picked every week, he's crucial to our team and puts his head over it every single damn time and then makes a great decision afterwards. Unforunately i've seen who picks the Rising Star and theres barely a brain cell there.

Harry and Ashcroft are both very good players. Harry’s stats get pumped up a bit because he takes plenty of kick-ins. That’s not a knock on him. He takes the kick-ins because he is our most skilled player. If we were as competitive as Brisbane, he’d be even better. Overall, it should be a good, close battle for the Rising Star award if they stay healthy. Whoever wins it will be a worthy winner. Brain cells aren’t really necessary for footy. In fact, they get in the way generally.
