Well with everyone checking in from exotic locations around the globe, the least I can do is say hi and go Saints from where I currently find myself, suburban Brisbane.

Watching from my lounge room in scumville Geelong. But I'm fine with that. Owens to kick 4 and Saints by 49.

I have some exorbitantly priced seat in the stand on the eastern wing.
The one that has a very flash looking hotel attached (The Oval).
Will be using the phone app (which I hate), but will try to post some photos etc.
Particularly of the wild, after match St Kilda supporters celebrations.
Must say that it’s a brilliant morning here, and just quietly, I’ve fallen in love with Glenelg.
Glenelg is awesome. Would move there if I could handle been that far away from the Saints.

I just hope to wake up in the morning.
Dude, you summed up the desperate yet silent lives of so many of us men, slaving away to feed our families, keeping all heads on our shoulders above the water as we slowly sink, waiting, watching, yearning for that day, when we don't have to wake up and do it all over again. What keeps us going? A cup, held aloft, the Holy Grail...a matching cup for '66. Keep waking, my dauntless dad's...keeping waking.

When I was young I stayed in Glenelg. Someone was murdered in the pub the night I was there. The entertainment that night was a Kiss cover band which seemed the best thing on in the whole city at the time.

I was the only person in the water on a 30 degree day and some guy came up and told me I was brave swimming with the sea lice. Don't know if he was shitting me but gave me psychosomatic itches for days.

Last time I was in SA I stayed there again and they had good coffee so I was quite partial to the place. It was like a shit St Kilda which felt homey.

I’ll be sitting behind the goal in front of The Hill, hopefully I’m not asleep at the end of the game! Go Sainters

I’ll be sitting in front of my TV drinking beer, but I’ll be sure to wave to you. 😉

Loved your Adelaide trip updates sunny! We did Adelaide as our away game last year and it was fantastic. Bus trip through the Barossa followed by a fantastic game of footy and absolute scenes post games on the streets of Adelaide with dare I say it some of the best Crows fans I'll ever meet. Best footy trip weekend so far!

Nick if you're on bigfooty and you sat next to 3 absolute degenerate saints fans last year flick us a DM :D

I haven't seen all of Adelaide's games, but from what I have seen their gameplan is good at causing opposition turnovers. Then when they get the ball, they move it quickly and effectively to their forwards who manage a mark inside 50 a high percentage of the time.

Some of Adelaide's problems are that they aren't good at winning the clearances nor at keeping the ball inside forward 50 if they don't score a goal.

Our backline is elite and currently has the lowest points scored against in the entire competition. The key to a possible victory will be to stopping forwards getting first hands to the footy, and using our excellent rebounding skills to punish them at the other end. This will require us to be more careful with our entries inside 50 (no bombing it long and hoping for the best!), and making the most of our opportunities in front of goal.

We haven't been at our best in the last couple of weeks. A return to the form from rounds 1-4 should be enough to get us across the line, but it really depends on whether the effort, accurate kicking and intensity is there this week.

Either way I'm looking forward to a great contest. Go Sainters!

Was that Scott Watters band?

Ok lets take their beer, their women, and the points boys!
