Gibcus takes Young's spot or plays forward. They won't but eventually you have to create positions for the kids. I mean a back 6 of Balta, Grimes, Broad, Vlas, Rioli and Baker is pretty much locked in if all are fit. Clearly Gibcus needs to play when he's fit, so who's spot does he take?
It's like people want to bring in all the untried kids in the coming weeks, but we still have Lynch, Hopper, MRJ, Gibcus to come in before them and we aren't going to play guys like Prestia in the reserves. Best 22 spots are very limited in our team, eventually we have to do what Hawthorn did and lose best 22 players to create spots for kids if we decide we cant win the flag in the next 2 years.
Correct. A rumour.Like they would have an idea, it’s just a bunch of fanbois like captain blood 17 and those others

Trading out Deledio got us a premierahip
Matty Knights will be disappointed to hear that newsI’m going to throw another dot out there to be joined.
I know a bloke who for years has been telling me he knows people in RFC coteries. My mate is not a tigers supporter. Some his mail comes good, but most doesn’t, so don’t shoot the messenger.
This bloke tells me Dimma has a 5 year contract at the Eagles starting next year. I am not convinced and this bloke is batting at less than 50% on his tigers news, but just passing what I’ve heard.
I doubt it is that much money but if it is surely he has take it, I understand being loyal but that's life changing coin.I love Broad but not for $800k a year. That'd get us a decent compo pick at least.
Yeah he is…Really well…And he’s durable…Had a 4 week holiday for that brain-fade, but didn’t miss a beat…If we offered $500K over 3, I reckon he’d stay…Geez he's playing well at the moment.
Deledio goes to the zoo, Broad does not lol.Broad performed in finals. Deludio didn’t. Broad Tackles. Deludio didn’t. Broads calf’s holds up. Deludio s didn’t.

WCE post grand final or RFC post Dimma?Just thinking about the rumoured broad offer, it isn't as outlandish as it seems at first glance. West coast will have a void of experience as they clear out their injured and old players, and will be looking for someone like Broad someone who does the little things, can teach good habits and comes from a winning program. He will essentially be a coach on the field whilst they develop their new crop of youngsters and they will likely want him as part of their football department post playing career. To get Broad to move from richmond they will have to overpay since he loves the place and I can see richmond going as far as 2 x 600k, so to pry him out it might have to be 2/3 x 750-800k. Not sure Broad moves for 100k more annually pre tax. Considering the type of contract the spud Ben Mckay has been linked to, this would be a comparative bargain.
Perfect number of years I reckon. 1 not enough, 3 probably too many.
Really happy with this re-signing. Will be even more important moving forward not only as a key member of the back 6, but also becoming an elder statesman on the list.
