Himmelberg caught up with a few of our players in Sydney for an intimate dinner. That's all I know at this stage...
This week?

Would have been with zurhaar, Logue and CT then

If we keep McKay then Himmelberg would be nice to play up forward.
yep I’d be happy with Himmelberg up either end

So happy to target him regardless of what McKay does

If so, that’s an interesting charm offensive contingent.

Would’ve sent Corr as the cultural attaché myself, given he spent years playing alongside HH.

Was that pic taken before or after Taylor was told he’s been left in Sydney

Mitch Georgiades? Would we ask the question? He is a talent but coming off an ACL will he still have his athleticism.

Personally I’d happily pay a third rounder for him, but since he’s not a full size KPF, he wouldn’t exactly be filling one of our greatest needs.
Assume WC will be all over him too.

Would they want a team of 3/4 sized key forwards though?

What works in our favour is Ben is a "young" FA so he'll get bumped up years. And while he may have slipped from last year fact is a lot of offers would have come in based on last season and that KP's of his age and talent/potential are gold.
Yet most of BF wants to see the back of him…hmm

3/4 time VFL. Noah Answerth 23 touches and 1 goal 2. Jack Billings 22 touches and 3 goals 2.

Larkey's contract to double? 900k for a bloke with endurance and accuracy as his two main selling points. Awesome servant of the club but if his next contract adds up to 900k per year, that feels like overs
Could argue that the last couple of years he's deserved more than 450k, and if the offers of nearly 1m are real then... Yeah fair enough to go with 900 IMO. As a bonus he's pretty bloody durable. Would be interesting to see the figures for games lost to injury to KPF the last couple of years.

It is a large contract but he consistently kicks goals in an abhorrently bad team, you would hope (expect) that his figures only rise as we do.

He definitely deserves reward for sticking it out and his output in a shithouse team, but I'd have thought 750-800k was about right. 900k is superstar territory. Ah well
