Wasn't it only ever a Wizard Cup pre-season guernsey? lol the historyMy favourite away guernsey, happy to see it again
How many different guernsey's do we need to wear in a year, but can only wear the one we really want to wear once a blue moon.

If so we are wearing this Wizard Cup eyesore in an official season game for the first time.. why????????
Yep. It should be a simple club statement repeated ad nauseum. This is going to sound a bit off but so be it.
We can change jumpers at the drop of a hat for retro round, pride round, Anzac Day and we can wear the indigenous jumper for a month however we can’t wear our most historically significant jumper without kowtowing to a rival club and the AFL administration.
Basically it seems as though we’re headed the way of the premier league and jumpers are just another income stream and not a reflection of our heritage.
I honestly think we should have 3 jumpers, home , away and PBs. I’m pretty much over the AFL being the self appointed social and political governors for the football world who seem to want to jump on any current social trend.
I must've blocked it from my memory. No it was also our away guernsey in 2003.

Yep, the 2003 PFPretty sure we lost to Collingwood in a final wearing it at the G.
I associate this guernsey with choppy and Nick Stevens.
So what people are saying is we can't have any heritage or nothing can be counted as heritage unless it's black and white?
We have been around in the AFL for long enough now to be creating modern heritage

This is one of the arguments that Collingwood would be making when we ask to wear the Prison Bars for heritage purposes. We’re playing into their hands here.
Also it’s about priorities. The 120 year old Prison Bars should obviously be our first priority. Once they’re sorted as a regular fixture then sure, wheel out designs we wore for 5 minutes til your heart’s content.
PBs aside, this is our best guernsey.
I've heard that Collingwood (under Eddie) even had a problem with this guernsey.
I don't mind this guernsey, I thought it was really good at the time but it was only worn for one season, and other than that a few pre season matches. Is it really worth bringing back?
