Yikes. That Oppenheimer theme really is something. Aside from the fairly obvious cultural insensitivity and moral ambiguity of the whole thing, is the idea that we’re standing on the shoulders of giants and this is a collective push encompassing the last 4 years really all that motivating? I’d be going with the opposite. Previous groups have failed. Yes. But not this group. Know it’s up to each and every one of you to be accountable. * whatever has come before.

That sort of thing.

You can just imagine if those involved in the Manhattan Project had watched their first attempt at the bomb wipe the whole state of Nevada off the map and then say they wouldn't have changed a thing.

I refuse to accept that Ken could sit through Oppenheimer without falling asleep or complaining that there isn't enough Jap death in his ww2 movie.

I mean, I get Barbenheimer dominated the popular culture there for a while and our PR team is trying to ride that wave.
The issue is not only are they a few weeks late for that, they have done it in the worst possible way. We have the least creative people in the country.

It's not even the kind of theme that would sound good if revealed in retrospect after actually winning the thing.

It'd be like 'um, ok ... :/'
They could have a theme based around two girls, one premiership cup and if they won the flag no one would give a shit.

Ken has done a pretty good job of making the supporters feel like occupants of Nanjing when the Japanese came through. Maybe that's what the WWII references are about.

Yikes. That’s a bit extreme. I don’t know of any of my fellow supporters who’ve been r*ped by a bayonet.
