Our run to the GF against Melb and Giants is a much better audition than Port and Carlton imo. Think we'll be ready for the pressure cooker

I hope they are frozen with fear. I’m glad their plane was delayed and I hope it rocked with turbulence. I hope they are all dreading playing at the G, with lame comments like that from Zorko who said something something something about having to play GFs at the G. Duh.

I also don’t care what they think. I only care about what we think. And we think we can win this.

I hope this is more than a think. 2018 was a think. At least this should be a reckon. Bit of a stretch for a dead certain but somewhere in between? Thats my call anyway I can surely tell you I don't think I will be majorly disappointed if we don't win, I know as fact I will be devastated.

My brother and my son live 4 hrs drive away from me, I just tore my adductor muscle and can’t drive up to town to watch the granny at the designated Collingwood pub with them. The bastards are driving down to my place tomorrow after work to watch it with me.

In 2018, we had to go the long way around. Lost to the Eagles in Perth, beat GWS and then Richmond at the MCG. The Eagles had a week off, and had 2 home finals just like Brisbane.
The big difference this year is that we also have had a week off. So we are better placed than in 2018.

Lipinski over Noble is immensely disappointing, even more so when you consider Lipinski doesn't suit the sub role at all but Noble does.

Slow, outside, soft, distance running grinder vs. Pacey, aggressive, hard nosed pressure machine. We are going to be looking to inject some pace and passion into the game and we are going to get Lipinski plodding along slower than all the blokes who have already played 3 quarters. It took Lipinski a half to even have an effective disposal last week. It's a baffling decision. I really hope we've managed to get them at a good arm's length before needing to call on him.

Exactly my thoughts. If Noble was named as sub I’d be much happier, but I’m at least happy enough that we brought Frampton in (I think he’ll ruck in Cameron’s place vs Daniher, Cameron to FF in place of Dan). And of course adding Ginny who is a real goal scoring threat.

I’ll stick with the coaches, as long as Lippa to sub is not a cop out/compromise on making the hard call to get Lipinski out of the starting 22, which is the right call.

I think any pie fan aged over 40 is too scarred by past grand final losses to think like this. Or maybe need another slab of IPA
