Tigers board. Pies and/or umpires from GF are corrupt and will be going to gaol. The truth will out.

One thing I’ve absolutely loved seeing on social media is the gigantic amounts of salt from opposition supporters every time the AFL, Fox Footy, SEN etc make a post about the 2023 AFL season And it more often then not mentions our premiership.

They comment and complain like the premiers are never mentioned again after Grand Final day. It makes me smile and feel warm and fuzzy inside seeing how much it deeply hurts them all that we won!

Haha, same. So many oppo supporters wasting their time to say how much they don't care.

And so illogical. Apparently it's the Colliwobbles when we lose close GF's, but it's either only luck or corruption when we win close GF's.. 😉

It’s hilarious, the majority have absolutely no clue. They make themselves look like idiots. It’s glorious.

Can’t like and agree with this any more.

That’s all the Richmond board is now, just “ump corruption” and you think they’re taking the piss but they’re 100% serious
They're so pissed they consistently get the least amount of free kicks in the comp & call it corruption, lol.

Easier than just taking responsibility for being the most undisciplined & sooky lot of players in the league, I guess.

How did they deal with this corruption when they won their flags? Or were the umps favouring them during that time?

What date is the truth coming out? Jus5 want to mark it in my diary so I don’t miss it.
There' s going to be a joint presser with the news that the earth is flat and Elvis is still alive. Richmond flogs are camped out in front of Graceland waiting to say "I told you so"

We won’t go back-to-back in ‘24, because we won’t win as many close games as last year.

Except that’s how we won the flag in ‘23, by winning as many close games as in ‘22.

Clearly people aren’t able to learn from their mistakes. Everyone said we couldn’t win as many close games as we did in ‘22. How many years of winning tight games consistently will it take for people to get it through their thick heads that it might not actually be luck?

At the start of Last year people thought we would slide and miss finals after finishing 1 point short of a GF berth the previous and "overachieved" due to winning close games.

To be fair we did win fewer close games. We won more games by slightly more comfortable margins.

At least during home and away!

Wow the Geelong salt in this thread is laughable. They've turned their stadium redevelopment thread into a Collingwood bashing thread :D Here are some examples.

"
Are we finally allowed to make the road to the GF come through Kardinia Park?

While the commentary has been nauseating for much of the last 20 years, you could at least see the argument.

The stadium was a little small, run down, and then eventually under construction.

Now though, it's a world class complex. On par with the likes of Stamford Bridge, Old Trafford and alike in the EPL, and many of the stadiums across the NFL in the US.

What's it going to take? We're only a 'Melbourne Club' when it suits the AFL, and it's created a fixture that you couldn't possibly justify in any other sport worldwide.

So what if Collingwood fans miss out. If our club has earned the right of home field over a grueling winter, then we decide where the game is played. It's how it works everywhere else in the world.

You want to win the premiership? You're going to have to beat us at home. Our real home. That's how it's works.

Imagine telling a European or Yank that their club had earned home field, but had to play the game at the oppositions home stadium.

It just makes our competition look bush league in comparison, when it shouldn't because our sport has done so much right to stack up against its international contemporaries."

News - GMHBA Stadium Stage 5 Redevelopment onwards is a laugh

Even Joel Selwood doesn't think big games or finals against teams which draw big crowds (ie : Collingwood) should be held at their home ground. He recently said on sen when specifically asked about playing those games in Geelong, that most clubs & players would want to play the big games at the G.

I love that a close win is apparently a loss among AFL media and BigFooty , anything to justify our flag wasnt deserved

Bizarre how differently these oppo supporters see it when we've lost games, finals & grand finals by a few points.

Never recall any of them saying we were ripped off, the umpires were corrupt, we were unlucky...
