As of tonight…

ROUND ONE

B: Stocker - Wilkie - Battle
HB: Wang.-Mil. - Howard - Bonner
C: Wood - Sinclair* - Henry
HF: Hill - Membrey - Phillipou
F: Owens - King - Higgins
Foll: Marshall - Steele - Crouch*

Int (from): Ross Sharman Windhager* Webster Clark
Sub: Garcia/Wilson

Em: Byrnes Campbell Caminiti
*injury permitting

We’ve got 26 legitimate Round 1 likelies, inclusive of Byrnes, with Jones, Dow, and Butler not even being considered for selection yet.

The real top end is still light on, but that’s some mighty handy overall depth.
Wilkie Steele Sinclair Marshall are the stars

If…. NWM King Henry Owens Battle Pou Windy make the jump, I reckon it’s enough to…

Contend.

Byrnes and Wilson ahead of Clark surely 🤷‍♂️

according to last year's final NWM Sharman maybe Hill? are our stars? Idk I was flying to greece and couldn't watch it, then knowing we lost haven't brought myself to yet. But bodes very well for NWM and Sharman going forthward (as they say)

“Broflakes” 😂
It is possible to be shite as a woman.
The bloke was pus too, just not quite as bad.
Who cares anyway, Saint Kilda by 10 11 goals

Saint Kildhercommentarycareerbeforeitstarted.

If Windys hand was only a little broken and not much to really make comment about, then competent hit out, so main thing to look forward to is mopping up those minor errors v North to lead well into round 1.

Beat Essendon twice. Love it.
Hope it also occurs in the real thing.

We also beat them last season and the practice game last season.
They gonna be our lil bishes.

Jade Gresham looked like one of their best players.

Dont care if it's preseason.
Flogging the dons anytime of the year is a beautiful thing.
Made all the more sweeter with them having no one of note absent.
I thought he looked no different to how he did with us.

Would be absolutely filthy having spent the type of money they have

Stayed for a bit of the magoos, schoonerblaster is gonna be a player and potentially play this year in the seniors. Pleasantly surprised by his intercept work and obviously seeing his weapon of a left boot cut through zones. Too good for vfl. Collard excites me and scares me. Very laconic and acts like he doesn’t wanna be there but his talent is through the roof with him only needing 10 touches to be a real impact. (I hope that’s how he is as a person and it’s not actually how he feels the way he comes across because he could seriously be anything for us) hotton a grab kick midfielder, needs to add strings to his bow. In good hands with hammer we have some good tall forward stocks. Gus is a lovely mark and just a solid player. Where does he break through?

Who do Gus and Arie replace in the 22? I have 8 backmen in our best 22 already.

Went to the game and saw Kyle Langford use the gender neutral toilets make of it what you will.

We looked slick and direct with the ball in hand, Essendon did not. They had no forward structure and they chipped the ball around a sign of a team that is lacking confidence in their system.

We have heaps of it, yeah we handballed behind players missed kicks that what you expect for a first hit out. Same result as last year and see both sides on this game as having similar ladder position this year on today's match.

This year we can add a fit King and Wilson and Henry both look like a round 1 starter and may jelp us up the ladder. Essendon only notable addition is Gresh.....can't help but s****** a bit at that thought.

Could not have expected a better hit out than what we gave and we seemed to do it at a canter....think this year we will be fin to watch......Essendon less so....boring stodgy and players not willing to commit energy to the support of team mates....stood out like dogs balls.

Just imagine when Essendon play a team with a decent midfield they won't touch it.

Go Saints...bring on next week next month...dare I say September

Gus not sure.. might have to just bide his time. Arie potentially at the expense of doog if the team we are playing have a smaller forward line (Wilkie or battle to take the no1) and allow bonner and sincs to play up more the middle. Not sure tho another who will have to bide but will get a crack at some stage
