I am convinced he suffers with confidence issues ( psychological weak) like a number of players. He plays like a big spoilt sooky kid.

Spot on - his goals always seem to come in batches too. I really think he would benefit from getting his hands on the ball more so every touch isn't just a high pressure shot at goal.

But he's kicked 2 and had 9 touches playing mostly forward.

Plenty others ahead of him.

He’s also cost us at least 1 goal directly and missed 2 absolute sitters

And don’t even get me on kicking at goal. I think im convinced now that King’s never gonna be a superstar. Think I’d almost rather Van Rooyen after watching how he goes about it this year.

What good looks like

1. Have a ruckman that can actual tap to his team mates
2. Have midfielders who doesn’t just hack kick ball every time they have it.. actually consider their options and give it to someone in a better position
3. Have the whole team stick to their said position, rather than hunting the ball like under 8’s
4. Defenders that can actually beat their opponents, instead of relying flooding to contest the backline
5. Transition the ball from backline to forward line smoothly by kicking to leads, teammate’s advantage and handball links to create overlap run..
6. Can hit up leading forwards operating in an open forward line

For anyone who watched the VFL you could see the stark difference in skill level between the two sides.

Well this afternoon is no different one team can hit targets with confidence the other cant. The only thing that is keeping us in this game is them missing shots on goals also.

My heart hopes we can turn things around, but brain suggests Giants win by 30-40 points.

Stats indicate that we're being beaten with pressure and ball use. Possessions, contested possessions, contested marks are all fine but we're being smashed in inside 50s, tackles inside 50 and clangers. Dunno how to fix that at half time
