chapter 9: it's not pee it's pepsi
Look, we bring in Curtin, maybe rotate Laird back.
What else, though?
Dowling probably deserves a game, but are we really expecting much from a midfielder grabbed at the end of the draft?
There's not many pushing up.
Laird got shifted to defense in Q4 with MM taking his spot in the midfield so they know he is shit in there but somehow will be in the starting midfield next week......I agree, but you watch the coaches point to the numbers and claim they were good.
We have the same result every time a team comes out with a high intensity and put pressure on the ball carrier. Our guys panick and then produce a quick hack kick or handball to a team mate under pressure. We have no plan B when this happens and the opposition scores quickly and easily. When we struggle to find a single free option 90% of the time we have the ball, but then the opposition have free players everywhere as soon as we turn it over, there are only two possible excuses. Poor structure, and poor workrate. Or both, I guess.
That match was an embarrassment to both the coaches and the players.
It's not 300 nor his final game. We've just put in yet another shit performance so shake his hand, say congrats and get the **** off the field.Lots of players have left the club, why single him out?
How do we know if Dowling is up to it or not if he doesn't get a chance.Look, we bring in Curtin, maybe rotate Laird back.
What else, though?
Dowling probably deserves a game, but are we really expecting much from a midfielder grabbed at the end of the draft?

I know he's coming back from an achilles and he was never that quick to begin with but he seems to have lost the bit of acceleration he had. Couple of times today it looked like he was trying to run in mud.Did Schoenberg spend his rehab next door to a Wendy’s? Seriously overweight.
And he still managed to kick it to Hawthorn when under no pressure.Laird got shifted to defense in Q4 with MM taking his spot in the midfield so they know he is shit in there but somehow will be in the starting midfield next week......
I ate half a Terry's chocolate orange and aside from the shape of it reminding me of Nicks's head, it was the highlight of my day.Good:
The Rib Eye steak I had for lunch
Stop showing upSeason was over in week four. Best advice I can give people is to stop getting sucked in by this club's relentless hype machine. They never deliver.
Fair enough but the fact he successfully avoided stuffing things up is because he never had any influence on the game... until the junk at the end.Cook at least uses the ball and actually has skills. Yes he can get more of the ball but he is absolutely the LEAST of our problems.
Didn't see him cough it up, handball to a stationary ROB, squib or turn it over.
The fourth was just junk time. Use stats at 3/4 time for a proper autopsy of this club failure.I agree, but you watch the coaches point to the numbers and claim they were good.
This is such a shit take. Good lord.Fair enough but the fact he successfully avoided stuffing things up is because he never had any influence on the game... until the junk at the end.
I like the guy but his lack of effective output is a career negative. He won't last without significant improvement... in spite of his alleged talent.
Not our biggest problem but there is no sugar coating his contribution to a team failure today.
Doing it now
No.Did Schoenberg attend a single centre bounce?
They were talking about on 5aa after the game, why the **** wouldn’t we play Schoenberg in the middle at least once?
Last week people were commenting how he seemed to have lost a few pounds over his rehab.Did Schoenberg spend his rehab next door to a Wendy’s? Seriously overweight.
The game was our chance to do something if we wanted to shove it up him. It's not 300 nor his final game. We've just put in yet another shit performance so shake his hand, say congrats and get the **** off the field.
Jcpdragonx is totally wrong again unless Schoenberg has gained 10kg in a week. Burgess even mentioned how impress he was with his rehab.Last week people were commenting how he seemed to have lost a few pounds over his rehab.
So which is it??
Dawson came in under an injury could, sat ff for q4. Write off game for him
How good was the West Coast game though?
I bet we leave the highlights from last week on the screen at training again this week.
Just need Nicks to tell everyone how proud he is of them.
