Tigers Ins look way better than our Ins...

I think it might well get down to how much influence Dawson has with the indications being he'll play forward because I can't see us getting 1st use as much as the tigers with Strachan, Laird, Soligo, Schoenberg, Berry and Dowling matched up against Nankervis, Taranto, Baker, Dion Prestia, McAuliffe and no doubt Bolton having squirts on ball.

Wasn't Dawson's foot issue supposed to be "Turf Toe" ?

They do and their effort has improved in recent weeks. I just wonder if the Richmond players might have one eye on Dusty's 300 and might not show up tonight.

Just a one weeker?

Everyone has a go at my Knarlin Ned
I still have his lovely face on my avatar

I like especially when he is on the bench as a specialist sub

"Ned is just a great, you know a great little club person tries his guts out every week, he plays that hard high half forward role/wing. He’s doing all he can, I know he loves Adelaide footy club…"

Sack Nicks.
Put your hand up if you want a win.

I want a win.

I always want a Crows win.

Unless it's the last match of the year and a Harley Reid is the reward for losing, regardless of the team's ladder position, situation, or what the mob think of selection, or players, or coaches, or admin, I always want to see the Crows win.

This game could be anything - hideous, close, hapless, laughable, blowout either way,...or really good, sharp and entertaining.

Hoping for a skilled display by our boys, but as usual, not sure which Crows are gonna turn up.

Result? Undecided, but leaning Crows.
I did say in the changes thread that "I would love to see us get rolled", but that was a heat of the moment frustration post.

I don't want to actively barrack against us but I feel a loss might be a blessing in disguise. Lose to the second bottom team at home in prime time and we'll firmly be in the media spotlight. While Nicks won't get the flick just yet, some higher ups would start to get very nervous.

Anyone know what our lowest Adelaide Oval crowd is? I could see us getting below 40k tonight. Thursday night not in the holidays, it's cold, our form is poor, lots of Covid and Flu around the place.

Richmond have a decent following that will help.
Excluding 2020-21 restriction years, in 2022 we had 22,859 v West Coast.

Excluding 2022 (when everyone was still getting low crowds) the lowest is 33,188 v Brisbane in 2023.

Pre-covid the lowest was 37,890 v North on a Thursday night. We only dropped below 40k three times pre-covid.

Hopefully something like this,

Strachan knocks the ball down to Soligo who is on the move, dashes forward and handpasses to Dowling, who from 'outside the paint' slots a goal

And the crowd goes wild
