Hes also been in the spuddiest team of all those players in that time.No way he plays that much time in the ruck. If so Darcy also averages more hitouts.
You seen how their midfield kicks to them ?So McDonald and Ugle-Hagan in the same draft?
Darcy less games.
Using essentially Pick 1 on a ruckman he needs to be the Nic Nat or Maxxy Gawn and I don't see that happening.
Going to leave us very undermanned for Key Forwards with Tex in the twilight and Darcy yet to really scruff the bull by the horns and be the number 1 man..
The Telstra Heat Maps??? Oh Dear!!!
According to the heat maps we are playing 6 wingmen and two forwards. I think everyone who has watched the last month of footy would agree that our wingmen have been Jones and Sholl. When they are rested (they both average around 85% ToG if they are not subbed on/off) then another player takes their place on the wing. Sometimes Murphy, Nankervis, Cook, McHenry, even Dawson and Soligo.
If Cook gets a possession on the wing and there is 16 or 17 of our players between him and the opposition goal then DO YOU believe that instantly makes him a wingman?

Maybe smith spat the dummy again? Is it standard procedure for non-playing emergencies to be in the rooms in the same attire as a starting 22 player? Zac Taylor is there, and it seems odd to me. Late change? Or am I getting my hopes up?
Unfortunately not. Only pain here.Maybe smith spat the dummy again?

Maybe this is Zac's 'reward' - hanging around the team before being allowed into it.
I would assume given a guy can ping a hammy in the warm up they'd be prepared to play until the ball is bounced. Is it standard procedure for non-playing emergencies to be in the rooms in the same attire as a starting 22 player? yeah I get it, but in a game where we get flogged, 8 still shows some intent at least. You have to be careful valuing tackle numbers by players inside the stoppage. There’s a lot of tackles where the opponent is wrapped up immediately by 2 of 3 opponents. Did he earn a HTB from any of the 8?

He's been shite for a couple of years. Really shits me that we have no succession plan in place.
Hey BACCS, didn't see this reply until this morning.Even though they would know making finals isn't easy from this position, 3 teams did make it from here last year. There's 11 rounds left, I would be worried if any club had a mindset to give up on finals when they are still mathematically possible at this stage of a season. Need to obviously win this week and start taking some scalps though, very minimal margin for error.
Are you happy for the team you support to give up on a season at the midway point? We aren't in North or Richmond territory here. If the club took your mentality I would be seriously worried that they just give up when it gets a bit hard. Sydney went on a run from 4-8 at this stage last year and are now flying in 2024, what if they had the same attitude as you midway last year and gave up on the season? They certainly wouldn't be in their current position.
Port is still sitting 4th and I wouldn't say their form has looked fantastic; Melbourne just got belted by 92 points and were top 4 before that game; Collingwood can't field a forwardline for the next month. Changes to the top 8 from here seem fairly likely given no team outside of Sydney has had a consistent run of good form and have mounting injury lists.
IF Nicks takes us to finals from here, I'm happy to see what he can do in 2025. IF he doesn't, we need to move him on.
Yes!44 goals in 46 games and you've just knocked 10 off in 2 games. So averages a goal a game, which is mediocre from a KPF.
Ben King - 165 in 85 - Number 1 forward
Max King - 154 in 80 - Number 1 forward
Cam Zurhaar - 146 in 109 - Not the same type of player at all
Logan McDonald - 75 in 55 - Behind Buddy, slightly more accurate
Joel Amartey - 49 in 39 - Getting closer, forward/ruck
Jamarra Ugle-Hagan - 78 in 55 - Arguably the equal key forward target with Naughton
Sam Darcy - 25 in 18- Probably the most accurate comparison to TT, got there in the end!
all better than a goal a game.
Credibility that was already sub zeroputting a lot of weight on your own personal credibility as a counter weight alternative
We could have dropped him more often.
you're still wrongmaybe go back and read the initial response to the question.
I wonder if it’s still zero, with dekoening now the #1 ruck?Conway is absolutely zero chance of going anywhere, probably less than zero given they've been patiently developing him to takeover when the time is right. Mitch Edwards is miles off ready, yet to play a game with a back issues since drafted last year and Rhys Stanley is done.
Well given he's in for surgery on a navicular injury right now ...and it's not the first time he's had foot issues either, Navicular bone injuries are a pretty serious injury especially in 205cm 100kg+ big units. If ever the Cats would consider it that would be now.I wonder if it’s still zero, with dekoening now the #1 ruck?
