Random thought for a Friday - If kenny had a band it could be called

Watching now but I'm a minute in and he's called the coaching situations "similar" between Bevo and Hinkley?

Sorry but its downright offensive to compare a bloke that's made two grand finals and won a flag in less time at a smaller club to an 11-year failure like Ken.

My impression was the similar coaching situations were coaches that have been considered to have under delivered on their list potential.

They in fact did highlight and expand on this very point you make.

It's clumsy and not particularly concise but the points they do make are supported by facts or by video evidence of Korner's opinion.

Peter Ladhams hated Hinkley.

That's funny. In 2019, I drove Uber for a about a year, due to financial hardships. One night, I pick this young person up, with a British accent, up from around Golden Grove way.

The usual chat ensues: "Have you been doing Uber long? Been busy today? How's your day been? Yadda, yadda, yadda."

Of course I responded in kind asking how his day has been and whether he's got anything planned for the weekend since I drove mainly Fridays and Saturday nights.

He said: "I'm really happy this week. One of my best friends is debuting for Port Adelaide tomorrow. I don't know if you're into AFL, his name is Pete Ladhams ."

I replied that I was a Port supporter and I was happy for him. After some further chit chat, I asked him: "So, what is Pete's opinion of Ken Hinkley?"

He replied: "He's got a lot of respect for Hinkley. He's the coach. There's a lot of respect for him at the club. All the players respect him."

I just replied with: "Oh!", biting my tongue not to say something that I would not be too proud of.

An awkward silence ensued.

I guess Ladhams must have changed his mind about Hinkley in the meanwhile.
