Still baffled that Mannagh is not playing tonight + am interested in your opinion please, cats09?

Conway is agile + goes to ground well.

Stanley in our Backline appears as teaching our young backs, who will learn + for their development.

Know nothing of Edwards. Is he now designated as #2 ruck to Conway in future years?

Others can tell you more, but I understand that the thought process is Conway and Edwards as our ruck duo for the next decade plus - as for whom will be #1, sounds like there could be debate about that as Mitch also seems to be highly rated

Conway has shown real good agility for a player of his height, and we know what Rhys has to offer as a forward, but I think naming a FF line of: Conway, Neale & Stanley, with Foster then named on the forward flank is somewhat taking the piss

I'm not sure that Stanley will play on Sunday and expect we'll see a change to the VFL team as it's currently excessively tall up forward

Mademoiselle Minou is French
Remember you may only drink to celebrate after a Cats goal
True

Minou, cagnotte, caisse, minet = kitty

Minou also = pussycat

Minou is too ubiquitous

Whereas, Zouz has a traditional meaning + a contemporary meaning 😻

Dear Mods

Forgive me for all my OT posts + comments, please?

When nervous, I become even sillier. Teachers were exasperated, when reprimanding me, because I'd laugh.

I'm super nervous about tonight's game.

In my defence, cannot blame 🥂🍾🥂. . .YET

Can only assure you with 🥂🍾🥂

Just jokes

Ok ok let me explain. We are calling the AFL ladder the Bradbury ladder where everyone keeps crashing into each other whilst the swans sail by a few games clear. So a Geelong win helps that cause.

Not only that, there is respect for Geelong and not because you flogged us in 2022 but because you gave us an almighty scare a couple of weeks ago.

Go Catters.
Gotta love the Sydney fans. Big respect to them. 2nd best in the league

Excellent points as always cats09

For future #1 ruck, as you are probably very aware, there are various factors: experience from number of games played; development pace; injuries; physical + mental growth; team inclusion; car washing lol

Seems bizarre to load VFL with so many potential rucks, yet none in tonight’s game. Can understand Stanley playing VFL with a niggle. I believe (repeating) he’s there to instruct them. Scotty loves playing players out of position, to learn their craft.

^^^you’re more than likely to be correct about Stanley not playing. Also your explanation that Stanley on injured + emergency lists is a lateral perspective.

Excited to watch VFL game to see how the talks perform.

Over here in the West every single tipster in the paper picked Carlton. Normally reserved for when North play someone semi decent. I think we are being quite easily dismissed as a chance to win tonight against a side we ended up beating quite comfortably last time out. GO CATS.

Cats must bring elite level defensive pressure
Must force the Blue's to rush their disposals
When cats create turnovers they can score fast
They did this successfully against Swans for Q1.5
However Cats must sustain the pressure longer
Cats zone is prone to precision short passing.
Given time and space Blue's forwards will feast
This pressure relies on everyone contributing.
Preventing easy stoppage clearances is a must.
Cat forwards must contest to prevent intercepts.
Holding the ball inside F50 for zone to setup
Cat win is very possible against big headed Blues.

Expecting a late change

I'm going with Rohan as sub again tonight

Just before, O. Henry, Dempsey & Rohan made their way onto the field to start their warm up

Dempsey & Henry look like they're wearing some of Scratchers new gear, while Rohan is on the traditional blue hoody

All I'll say is...hope you've got a warm toilet seat. ;)
🤣🤣🤣

James, for years, I’ve begged for a kind BF soul to begin a GoFundMe to install heating in the bathroom.

You’d think with all my goal assists* over the decades, without which, no Premierships won, a loo seat warmer is the least I deserve, right?

Wish it was so warm in my bathroom 🥶
