As much as all of the above is true, I thought the umpiring was pretty much better than normal today. Sure, the were influential, and unarguably they handed enough goals to Carlton on a plate to ensure that North didn't stand a chance, but at least they weren't as bad as normal.
The definition of damming with faint praise. Well done.

Mate, they are a joke of a team as of today. We should have won and I'm not sure if that says more about us or them.
They're a top 4 this season over the 18 rounds. Every team has their ups and downs. They needed to win badly and stayed with them, even if the umps and their momentum. My take away is not only are we on the right track, another off season with additions and fitness, we will be a fun watch.

I felt like we were the better team for a majority of the game. We had the momentum in the last before the umps decided to totally kill it.

Super proud of the players and hope they're not dejected.
Yep no matter what way you look at it we where great today.

enough is enough.

Time for Clarko and Sonya to grow some balls and call this shit out.

We can’t keep coping it from the cheating campaigners over and over and over and over and over.

****in do something FFS!!!!
hard when you’re a minow of the competition.

-So many inconsistent calls. So many high contacts not paid, incorrect disposals, OOtFs. It’s just really depressing.

-Umpires not getting involved at all in the McKay suspected concussion. Play on! 6 minutes of game time before the doctor takes him off. Amateur hour.

- Sheeze was good but went missing for large chunks. He wasn’t alone. Jy and LDU also MIA all through the Blues early 3rd quarter domination. Wardlaw also ineffective for large portions.

-Powell may have been doing a job on Walsh. Walsh got on top on the second half.

- Backs did well considering the amount of pressure

- Ford had a bit of a mare. He has talent, but he still is not fit enough. Some of his efforts were poor and missed multiple chances. I’m only comparing due to similar style, but if it was JHF still playing for us, we on BF would be preparing nine inch nails for a crucifixion.

- Chom provided a great option in the first half. I thought that once we lost the ascendancy, it may have been prudent to shift him back as we began to lose the aerial contest.

- de Koning got on too late, but Xerri played another enormous game. Well done.

- PC may have played his best game for North. Excellent all round play for a FP/HF.

- Zurhaar just did not do enough. Larkey well held.

- RHJ was impressive in the first half but probably should have been subbed out. His second half saw him regress a little to the type of play shown in his first two games.

Structure and balance of the tram probably looks as strong as it has since early 2016.

Should have taken opportunities. Key players didn’t stand up. Lacking 5% polish. Need more conditioning to average the 190 pressure rating over 3 1/2 quarters we need to win.

End of the day it was important we responded after last week.

Let’s hope the swans game was our last uncompetitive game of the year. Or ever.

Third qrt was bad. Fell asleep in the middle, the whole team started fumbling. And that was that.

But we responded and didn’t go away.

Need to keep that up for next week.

This was the nail.

This was the moment that killed the game.

This should not happen at any sport yet AFL manages to make this happen weekly.

Do premierships even matter anymore? Flaunt those shit tacky ass NBA ripoff American ****-smoker rings all you like players but those flags mean ****ing nothing when the comp is this rigged.
