Why would we want soldo when he couldn’t even beat out Jordon Sweet and wants to move again a year after going to Port?

Marshall was almost AA ruck this year, only reason to get another ruck is if a gun emerges who wants to come to us. Soldo is not that.
The only reason to get another ruck is because we don’t have cover if Marshall goes down…

Coz we've delisted TC and have zero backup for Ro.
They can then run Ro through the forward line and think about letting Membrey go which frees up a list spot and some cash.

We need to move some pieces around. Ro is a legend but that counts for nothing if it doesn't translate to an effective midfield.

I would like to see Wilkie and Wood get co-captaincy, with Windy and Byrnes as deputies. Steelo just needs to concentrate on being as good as his best has been, the official leadership role doesn't suit him, no shame in that.
Mr.Byrnes, I actually like him, that goal he kicked against the blues, he looked kinda embarrassed (shy lad I think). But leadership? What the.

He's long been spoken about as a leader. Its probably one of the main points in why he was drafted and also why we have persisted with him.

He's not the most talented but he's made of the right stuff. He's also pretty vocal and has been even before he was getting regular games.

Agree with your point on Steele Wilkie Windy

Wood seems like the type who would reject the captaincy, just wants to focus on football and life commitments and do leadership stuff on the side

Row and Sinc stay in the group as on-field standard-setters

I feel like Nas will be in the leadership group by around 2026, he’s really improved in this space since debut and I think the coaches are encouraging it. Feel like Henry has potential here too. Maybe Owens to a lesser extent too
